May 13, 2014I have an MPow dual USB car charger capable of providing 2.1 amps over both USB ports. It is also able to detect if you are using an iPhone or Android and adjust accordingly. It worked great with my G2. It could fast charge my wife's G2 and my G2 at the same time. However, on my Nexus 5 I just got, it is only charging at USB speed.

Sep 4, 2010I felt like there was no difference with the speed of the ip4 than my 3gs. I gave my 3gs to my daughter and the other night she needed to me get her signed up for netflix. There is a significant difference. I thought she had did something to cause the speed to slow down so I restored her phone It was a little faster but not like my ip4. She doesn't have the jailbreak because for some reason I can't jailbreak her phone. I do have the jailbreak and even though I notice a slight lag it is still faster at opening apps than the 3gs. I knew there was a difference in the display but I didn't realize it was so big of a difference. I sometimes wonder did I just jump on board with buying the ip4 because besides the hardware it wasn't that big of a difference. But now I see there is a huge difference. The 3gs is a great phone but the ip4 is a much better phone. It is smoother and definitely faster and you can't beat the retina display. And by the way I never had any problems with the antenna because I immediately put my phone in a case for protection even before I heard about atennagate and I always use a bluetooth or headset for my phone so if I have the issue with the ps I never noticed.

Jun 27, 2012I would kindly ask for some support concerning my iPhone GS: The smartphone runs with the latest firmware and its memory capacity is still around 50% of the maximum (btw: it is not cracked and I do not want to do that). It seems to me that the processing speed gets worse every day.
Opening apps can quite take a while and so are any actions including some text input (e.g. task planners).
Could it be that this is due to the permanent connection to cloud services like Dropbox or Exchange Server (for email, tasks, and notes)?

I have heard tips on how to speed it up, but some said they didn't work on Macs (one in sig) or that they didn't work at all. I think I have all the apps on my iPhone on my MBP, so I don't see how that would be a problem (I got the computer recently and transferred all purchases). I heard the 'Disable Sending Reports to Apple' thing didn't work on Macs. So anyway can anyone share their tips on how to make it faster? I have lost backups before, so I really like to keep everything backed up since things can go wrong fairly easily with hacked iPhones. It's a 3G.

I've run this 4 times now with the same results each time.
She's got an Apple bumper, I've got an iFrogz case.
She's got 4 bars.
I've got 2 bars.
They're literally sitting next to each other on a table.
I took my case off, no change.
Hers is also one minute faster than mine (both clocks set to auto)

Mar 12, 2012my iPhone 3Gs (White) seems to take ages to laod anything that i am trying to use on it, especially whilst a music playlist is on shuffle, after each song, it takes roughly 30 seconds for the song to start playing (which is very tedious after a while).
Is there anyway I could speed up the processing speed of my phone? and is there a hardware upgrade i could get such as get an a4 processing chip installed into it?

May 17, 2010The wireless internet speeds on my 32GB iPhone 3GS are painfully slow.I have an Airport Extreme router and my MacBook Pro and iPad are both great. Here are averages from 10x Speedtest.net (or their app) runs:
MacBook Pro: 15 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up, 70ms Ping
iPad: 14 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up, 90ms Ping
iPhone 3GS: 3 Mbps down, 0.5 Mbps up, 600-700ms Ping
When I ran the speed tests, each device was the only one operating on the wireless network at the time. I also tried 2 other speedtest apps on my iPhone and they produced similar results.Do you think Apple will replace my iPhone, or will they just tell me it's operating normally and to deal with it?

The local company offers until 1Mb/sec download speed, but most of the time it comes with only 200b/sec. Sending is with 128Kb/sec, but the max download speed is 52Kb/sec. I think it´s somewhere in the drivers, but unfortunately I don´t know where. I was 3 times with the local phone company, but they cann´t (will not) help me. Anybody knows an answer?
