Jun 25, 2012One day I was listening to my music on my iPhone and the phone dropped on the carpet (nothing hard) and after that when I took my headphones out, the phone no longer works on speaker and the loud sounds dont work unless the headphones are plugged in.

Nov 21, 2011when RAZR is sitting on a softer surface that it really effects the speaker / ring sound?The speaker placement is not as optimal since it is easily covered. On my DX it was lower and never was completely covered. Not a complaint, just surprised as I missed a few calls due to the phone sitting on my car seat and sofa.

However, having 2 elderly and infirm parents living quite a distance away, I would like the phone to ring in case of emergency. This would be brother, sister, care home etc. Selective numbers so to speak. I can't find a way to do it on the phone, but note there are many apps that suggest they may work.

Mar 26, 2010Today, I bought a iPhone 3GS Black from my friend for JUST $40.00! I already own a white iPhone 3GS but for $40.00 that was a steal even though it has a couple of problems. I figured I could use it as an iPod for my car since I was planning on buying a nano anyways. One problem is that the speaker does not work at all. And another problem is there is a small nick or some sort on the screen (picture below) but it does NOT appear to be on the glass, it seems to be on the actual screen behind the glass. This iPhone still has warranty until August but I doubt Apple will replace it because of the screen. I was just gonna take it because of the speaker not working but I figure they'll turn me away due to the screen and overall condition of the phone. Everything works great and there does not seem to have any water damage (I checked both sensors).
