I just recieved my replacement iphone 4 today, when I turn it on it says insert sim to activate, when I do that it says sim not valid but on top left displays vodaNZ(as im from nz). Keeps saying insert the sim your iphone came with. It doesn't say activate your ipone using apple id and stuff like that. All it says is insert sim to activate. Could it be a corrupt sim or hardware issue?
I had an iphone 4 and I just upgraded to the 4s, didnt go to the store just put my iphone 4's sim card into the the 4s, and its giving me an error message ''SIM not valid'' whats the problem? The error message goes on to say ''Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activated iphone
my iPhone 4 is supposed to be factory unlocked - and it works with all German carriers - I also checked one sim-card from Ireland, which also worked. However, I can't activate the iPhone with a Chinese sim-card or Thai sim-card. The error message "sim not valid" shows up. I tried those two sim-cards with an iPhone 4S of a friend (also factory unlocked), and both worked perfectly. My assumption is that my iPhone is only unlocked for European carriers?
Now I'm in a foreign country and don't know what to do! I also bought a microsim with internet data and it also does not activate. The iphone is unlocked from the carrier, at least they say that but Apple in Germany told me the phone has a restriction only for south america...
I just bought a brand new iphone from US' apple store to use in Canada with Rogers. I cut my own sim card and inserted into the sim tray of the iphone 4S. Unfortunately, it's reading the "insert a valid sim with no pin lock to activate iphone." My 4S is unlocked and it says so on the receipt as well. I've tried rebooting it and everything but it still reads that same message. I was wondering if it's something wrong with my iphone? should I go exchange it? I know the SIM isn't damaged because it still works on my blackberry despite the size.
I got my iPhone4 from the US and was using it for the past 3 months, iPhone4 after upgrading to 5.1.1 shows sim not valid or no service. I use IDEA service in India. All my contacts and photos have been deleated.
I haven't seen anything stating that the email we all received stating that our iPhone4's would arrive Wednesday the 23rd and not the 24th is a real true from Apple.com email.Mine is in route to my local FedEx facility but still shows the 24th (yes I know what the email says even though it says the 24th it still will be the 23rd).
I'm working on rolling my own MDM service, and I'm trying to combine the SCEP and MDM payloads as the MDM protocol document from Apple suggests. I created my own SCEP web service in C# .Net and I know that the device can get a valid certificate when I just send the SCEP payload. However when I also include an MDM payload that points to the SCEP payload's UUID via the IdentityCertificateUUID key, I get the following error, "The enrollment server did not provision a valid identity certificate." This configuration is the one that is sent after the user chooses to install the initial enrollment configuration (step 1 of phase 2 in this diagram). The device doesn't appear to even make an attempt at connecting to my server, and thanks to server side logging I know that it never reaches my SCEP web service page. This seems to indicate that there's something wrong with the certificate I use to sign the payload. I've separately tried signing it with my SSL certificate (from a pre trusted root authority), my customer MDM push certificate (chained from our vendor cert), and my self-signed root certificate authority certificate (created via makecert.exe) that the SCEP service uses to issue new certificates (i.e. device identity certificates).I've looked at the output from the iPCU (iPhone Configuration Utility) when I create a profile with both the MDM and SCEP payloads, and it isn't a valid profile (I've even tried copying it nearly wholesale). However when I install the profile via the iPCU the error doesn't come up and it begins the SCEP enrollment process without issue.A side note - using a preexisting MDM vendor is not an option here.Below is the profile I'm using:
I've had my E72-2 for a few months and I am quite satisfied with it. I thought that I would check if there was an update for it.I typed in *#0000# and this is what was displayed. Then I typed the Product code as found under the battery 0591928110914c into the Nokia web page where you can find out if there ia an update available. This is what I get.--That is not a valid product code. Please check your product code and type it again. For example, most codes begin '05xxxxx'
I updated my Ovi Suite from 2.0 to 2.1.0.87. Now, when I go to messaging, click on Add recipient and select the name of a contact for which the number is +XX(YY)ZZZZZZZ (XX being country code, and YY being area code), I get an error message saying "Recipient not valid" and "Recipient "<+XX(YY)ZZZZZZZ>" is not valid. Cannot send the message."This is a serious regression from previous version... and plain WRONG. THis is the standard international form for representing a nubmber. It used to work with 2.0, it's the format Outlook automatically formats numbers to.This needs to be fixed very fast.

Got my Nexus 5 on Friday, put my SIM in it and everything worked like a charm.
Yesterday, I was getting poor signal (connection errors when on LTE). So I decided to try a reboot. I did that and the phone came back with no service. I checked the APN, no issues. I swapped my SIM into my old phone, LTE working fine. I called my phone company (Rogers) and they checked the SIM, reset the network and I reset the phone. No Service (no anything).
I called Google support and their systems were down, so they recommended a Factory Data Reset. I did that - twice, still no service.
I have a Nokia2730c mobile phone. I have tried to download some software (like facebook, uc browser etc) fm ur nokia mobi store (with loging in my registered acct) but result always 'no valid certificate' or 'certificate not on ur sim' nd also ovi store is shown connection failed.
I have bought N97, and was using navigation but I am confused as it showed me that your navigation license is valid for 3 months, is it not free. As nokia web say that it is free 4 life.
We received a X6 32 with 1 year free Comes with Music. On going back into the Music store it asked me to register the PIN again, only to be told that although I have 362 days left, the PIN is not longer valid.I fear this could have come about from us putting another SIM card in the phone.Could this be the reason, and what is the solution?
I have paid €9.99 for the latest map for Nokia N95 8gb, Iactivated it, but after I reinstalled the software and used the key again, itis saying that the key is not valid!
