Feb 10, 2012Periodically the screen will lock up on my Xyboard. It is not a system crash/lock. This is where the screen stops reacting to touch. Usually putting it in sleep mode with the power button and then waking it clears the problem. Other times it requires a hard reset -- hold power and volume down.
I've had this issue twice on my RAZR since I got it in December. I've had it happen at least 5 times on my Xyboard since I got it Feb 1st.

I have turned off notifications, no push mail and closed all tasks.

Dec 31, 2010so I dropped my phone from a height of about 2 feet today. The back came off and the battery fell out. I put the battery back in and turned on the phone. It vibrated signalling it was turning on, then the backlight came on, then the backlight switched off, and that was it.Now the backlight turns on and off periodically. I can't do anything with it. It won't connect to the computer or chargeI've only had the phone for 4 days. There's no wear and tear damage and no scratches or bumps from the fallI've tried the software update, but that didn't work.I'm wondering is there a way to fix it?Do I just leave turn on & off till it sorts itself out?

Feb 27, 2011In December I got my third replacement 9630 in less than a year. From the first day this one has had a single maddening flaw. If the transmitter is on, after every 25 seconds of typing it freezes for about 10 seconds. I can then type again for another 25 seconds, and then it freezes again. The only way I can use the unit without this happening is to turn off the radio, type my email or text, and then turn on the radio again to transmit. I originally thought the problem might be due to a memory shortage, but then why would the radio setting matter?

Oct 30, 2011I've had my ATRIX 2 about a week now, and the USB Mass Storage option for the USB connection has only actually worked two or three times of all the times I have connected my phone. The Windows Media Sync and Motorola Phone Portal settings usually (but not always) do work. I've tried just about every combination of installing/reinstalling drivers, trying different cables/ports, restarting the computer/phone, etc., but nothing works consistently.I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on my computer, but I'm pretty sure the problem is the phone since no changes on my computer affect the connection.
Totally aside from manually moving files to or from the phone, the Mass Storage option is the only one that works with any of the methods I have to sync my old iPhone playlists to my new phone (Motorola Media Link, Winamp, iTunes agent).Does anyone have any idea why this wouldn't be working consistently for me?

Dec 3, 2011My new Atrix 2 will randomly lose signal. It will have 2-3 bars and show 4g but every night and randomly through the day I will look and there is no signal with the circle and line through it. I have to power the phone off and back on to regain. I went to AT&T on Thursday and got a new SIM as suggested. I have only had the phone since Wednesday. I have 2 other Atrix ( not 2's ) in the house and they have no issues.

Web searching/browsing just comes to a halt and eventually there is a message saying that there is no internet connectivity.owever the icon at the bottom right of the screen shows an excellent signal. am wondering if the problem is the internet service provider or wifi router or if the problem is with the xoom. May 26, 2014I'm not sure if this is a new issue or it has happened all the time and I just now noticed it. My Nexus 5 will drop wifi connection for just a split second every few minutes. I created a Tasker profile to do something whenever it connected to my wifi, and the profile kept firing constantly. I finally realized my phone was dropping wifi connection. It immediately reconnects, and it is so fast I wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't for Tasker. It is fast enough that it doesn't affect my Pandora streaming.
I have tried rebooting the phone, the router, etc., but the problem persists. I don't think it is a router issue, because my Galaxy Nexus doesn't have the same troubles.

Mar 12, 2014I stream a ton through blue tooth to my vehicle (Jeep wrangler via Uconnect). I get bad skipping periodically. To explain a song will be playing and I notices there is a "skip" in the song and as time goes on the skipping gets worse, the song fast forwards a second. Mostly happens on the Nokia + app, but occasionally happens on pandora.
I tried head pones and I didn't notice it, but to be fair I only did it for one or two songs. I do not know if it is a BT issue or if it is something to do with the storage. I turned off driving mode, turned it back on.... Also, music occasionally stops when I get a text message or an email. Not all the time, just maybe 50% of the time? I have to pause the stream/song and hit play again for the music to continue. I had no issues with my GNEX (went through several....POS phone....)

Jul 29, 2010I purchased a new 32gb iPhone 4 from my local Apple Store. After everything was all setup, I walked around the store trying to replicate the "death grip" which I was able to do, mostly anyway. A few seconds go by and a screen pops up, very similar to the incoming call screen.
It was plank at the top where the number usually would go, and below that it said "Pwr on/off". At the bottom was the usual Accept / Decline buttons. The Apple genius immediately said "Oh, hold on a sec" and pressed the "Accept" button, and the screen disappeared. When I asked him about it, he was very very coy about it and said "Oh, it was a diagnostic screen, don't worry about it. It's gone and you won't see it again." I kept asking what the screen was and he kept deflecting the question.
Anyways, much of the screen description was coming from memory, so I'm not 100% sure it was exactly, but it was damn close. I wish I had time to take a screenshot. Anyways, has anyone else seen this screen before? What is it?

Jul 11, 2010with my old 3GS, when i used to slip it into my pocket and pull it out, the screen would usually just clean it self pretty well by rubbing up against my pocket. i can't say the same for the iP4. it always looks smudged all over the screen, even after pulling it out of my pocket. also, cleaning it with a micro fiber cloth takes more effort than it did with the 3GS. any others noticed this?

Jun 8, 2010Now that the new glass is supposed to be incredibly strong and scratch resistant, will you still find yourself getting a screen protector? I don't know about me, i have never really had a scratch problem with my iPod Touch and now if the glass is as strong as they say it is, i doubt it could scratch unless you purposely do it yourself. With that being said i am still nervous leaving the screen unprotected because you can't really remedy the situation if the screen does somehow get scratched. May 6, 2010N96 was working fine until two weeks ago, hasnt been dropped or damaged so i can only think its the update of software.i have reset it and still i have the same problem.If I slide open to answer calls or messages or use the menu's by opening it as if to use the media player (ie slide down) it works fine.
