My PC crashed the other day and I lost all of my photos. Luckily there were many backed up onto my iPhone, but when I try to import photos from my new PC, it only finds photos that were taken from my iPhone's camera. Does anyone know how to grab photos from an iPhone that were originally uploaded with iTunes as part of different folders?

I recently bought an iPhone 5c and i love it. I went to the beach and took a bunch of photos with my friends and the next day i plugged my phone into the computer to sync music. I clicked something that that had to do with backing up or transferring data. My phone shut off and when it turned back on, i had pictures from april that i took on my previous iPhone 4. I backed up my iphone 4 to itunes (not icloud) yesterday, and today i went to the apple store to see if they could fix a broken lock button. They issued me a new phone, and assured me that i woult be able to retrieve my camera roll photos after restoring my phone from backup. Everything restored to my phone EXCEPT the photos. I think with the latest Google+ Update, it modified the Photos app. Now my only option is to display all photos grouped together whereas before, you could sort by Camera photos, and then look into your different folders. I don't find this useful at all, and really don't want to go back to using the Gallery app.

View 5 Replies View RelatedBought the Nexus 5 I decide to start utilizing cloud storage more but I'm now facing a very irritating problem. In the Photos app when you view backed-up pics they are grouped by date. This is so frustrating since I have a bunch of albums with only one pic.
I have about forty pics people sent to me though WhatsApp and every single pic has it's own album. I have a separate folder for "family" "friends" "dance" things that make sense grouped together. I took the time to curate every pic into specific folders but auto back up jacks everything up.
I was given someone else's phone that will not boot. I know very little about Android -- but am more computer-literate than the owner and that's how I ended up with it.
The phone freezes when booting. After it shows the AT&T logo, the frozen screen has an "htc one" logo with "beats audio" written down below.
I would like to pull the photos off of this device (which means I can't do a factory reset) but how to do it. I don't believe the phone has been modified in anyway (rooted or whatever). What can I do?
