Mar 17, 2012This will also probably have been answered before with the response that it's an intentional feature, but I don't care. It isn't a feature, it's a bug because I want to remove it and can't.
Along with seemingly everyone else out there, I have no intention of ever using this app. Stop shoving it in our faces and let us remove it. If this is some strategy to get people to use Newsstand, you're failing in a laughably miserable way - why else are there so many pre-iOS 5.1 tutorials on how to remove it?

Jul 1, 2012I have the NewsStand on my iPad and have 2 paid subscriptions that I read regularly. I recently tried to get these two on my iPhone. When I touch the NewsStand app on my iPhone it takes me to (assumedly) the App store but there's not much there...
What I see is: Upper left, "The Daily". Upper Right, "Bloomberg Businessweek".
Underneath, about 20 entries of Free stuff.
Period.
I do not have the option to search (clicking the "search" icon below takes me to searching for apps, NOT for magazines). When I "search" for National Geographic I find Nat Geo apps but no NG magazine.
HOW do I locate my two magazines ON MY iPHONE so that I can download them again? When I click on the NewsStand on my iPad I get an entire screen full of magazines, category choices etc.

I have checked the Default Settings and I only have 1 email address and calendar listed (CICAL and CMIME). However, when I go into Calendar Options, it lists my Outlook address and a "Default" calendar. How do I remove the Default calendar?

Jan 17, 2015My husband has the settings on the calendar all messed up .... he originally had my Google outlook calendar and his sync'd on his old S4 phone but his settings are messed up on the New S5 phone and I cant seem to get it corrected, the phone wont sync the calendar at all I've tried to clear the data and cache and stop the app. I don't see anywhere to delete the settings, hitting edit does nothing.
That doesn't work, cache and data clear....I think it might have to do with when we originally set up the phones on mine I told it I didn't want to use the samsung calendar and put in the info for my outlook calendar on my google acct. but I cant get that question about the samsung calendar to come up on his now that its been set up once and it keep telling him to log in to his samsung acct when he tries to sync it?

Even the person at the local store noticed this and couldn't make it go into a folder. Is there a trick to get it off the "front page" as a stand-alone app and into a folder? Jun 3, 2014I recently traveled overseas and had all my calendar items show on my iPhone as in the new locations time (ie, they moved X hours so wrong, but consistent). So the Appointments stayed in my home time zone, they just showed in the equivalent time period on the iPhone calendar.Â
When I returned home, my Calendar on my MacBook reverted to normal (ie, all appointments went to the correct, original time) but the iOS Calendar has somehow locked into the other time zone that I visited for a week or so. How can I get all the appointments on my iPhone to show correctly without changing or losing any of them.

Apr 16, 2012I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.

Jun 28, 2012Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.
