May 24, 2012
When will apple make the newsstand app removable like iBooks? Not everyone wants or needs it, I like iBooks but don't want newsstand & it's embeded into iOS 5 taking up spae i could use for something I do want there.
Does the RAZR hardware support USB host mode? Will it function under Gingerbread? Will it function under ICS? I know the Galaxy S2 support this. I expect the Galaxy Nexus will. I want the RAZR and I hope it also supports this, at least under ICS.
My friend accidently downloaded iOS6 for me and now i restored everything and its says i have to join the dev program but i dont want to, how to i restore to my old software before iOS6 come out?
There is a helpful app my freind showed me on his iphone called killbackground but they only way u can get it is if u jailbreak your iphone why cant they just put this app on the app store because it is very helpful because it closes all your app the u had open with a touch of a button.
I got back from my local Apple store with a black bumper and not a single problem now with the reception like I was having. I'm going to call and log a trouble call with them because while I'm glad that I can help the issue now, I don't feel it's right that I had to buy this.
I'm hoping they'll do something by either sending one out at no charge or reimbursing me with my receipt, etc. Either way, I can now make a call again in my house with no issues.

I used the trick to hide the newsstand before, but I just upgraded to the 4S and tried hiding it again using 5.1, no luck. I tried and tried and could not get it, has anyone been able to manage it?
I tried to do the folder trick to hide Newsstand, which worked under 5.0 and 5.01. Does it no longer work, now that a single app can reside within a folder by itself?
This will also probably have been answered before with the response that it's an intentional feature, but I don't care. It isn't a feature, it's a bug because I want to remove it and can't.
Along with seemingly everyone else out there, I have no intention of ever using this app. Stop shoving it in our faces and let us remove it. If this is some strategy to get people to use Newsstand, you're failing in a laughably miserable way - why else are there so many pre-iOS 5.1 tutorials on how to remove it?
I have one magazine subscription that has disappeared into newsstand. Anyone know how to get it back onto the desktop. A quick search of this forum reveals I can't get rid of newsstand itself.
