Iphone4S 5.1: Why can't I get the screen to rotate into landscape mode when entering Apple ID? It rotates while texting, just not when entering Apple ID.And yes, I know where the rotation lock is located...it's unchecked.
My phone will randomly lock in portrait mode. It is not the lock button on the multitask bar, I know iPhones inside and out but I am officially stumped. The orientation is unlocked, but the phone acts as if it is locked. I have tried a power down, power up, and a hard restart.
When typing a text my screen will not rotate to the landscape position. My screen is unlocked and other applications will rotate (calculator, photos, etc.). This problem began after the last software upgrade.
I have recently got a xperia z5 and found out that the camera is only in landscape and can't seem to change to auto rotate so can take pictures vertical or landscape. I hope that I don't have to always take pics in landscape.
After PR1.1 the dialer rotates to landscape mode on the N8, but the call screen that comes up after this, is still in portrait mode.
Yet, on the C6, the call screen also rotates to landcape mode with PR1.1 (see screenshot of C6 call screen in landscape mode) Why does the C6 call screeen rotate landscape yet the N8 does not?
Since my fones upgrade to Anna it is now reluctant to auto rotate to landscape view. The settings are correct and the auto-rotate is selected. It will auto-rotate if you give it a good hard shake to the left, and it will easily return to portrait with no problem. I received my upgrade to Anna via my PC and it seems to have fixed a couple of things that were really bugging me. I.e., the sat nav voice commands suddenly stopping for no reason and the safety camera warnings for two. But it seems to have come with it's own bugs.
I have discovered that all of the pictures that I take in portrait orientation once emailed to someone they are switched to landscape. The pictures can not be rotated back to the proper orientation with out opening Paint program and rotating them manually. I take hundreds and thousands of pics of my life (kids, vacations etc..) and do not want to have to manipulate them later on once moved to my computer. If you lower the picture quality to 6mp it fixes the problem, also if you shoot the pic in HDR mode. I should not have to do this to make it work. Fail.
I find I travel to places where an iPad can attract the wrong type of attention. So I use my iPhone for docs and such. The trouble is that the dos and most other apps are not landscape. Is there away to make my iPhone landscape?
I have bought a N900 today and am busy testing it. With the phone, no real user guide was given. I downloaded one from the Nokia site. But I do not seem to find how to make the screen rotate.
I saw a video of guys Droid where the icons could be spun in a 3D circle on one home-screen. All the launcher apps I have seen rotate multiple screens in 3D.
After updating to ios4 it seems if you don't take pictures in landscape mode (holding camera horizontal instead of vertical) then when you view them on the computer they are sideways. They look fine on the IPhone when taken the old way. It's only when viewing on computer. Anyone else having this "problem".22 days to break a habit. 22 days to break a habit. 22 days to break a habit.
Display does not go into landscape mode. Their is an Icon on the top of the screen displaying that the landscape mode is locked. I need to unlock this and have no idea how it locked itself.
My new iphone 4s wont go into landscape mode. Apple's website suggests how to test it using the calculator, but doesn't say what to do if it doesn't pass the test.Is there any setting that may be keeping the iphone display in the vertical mode?
While writting a message i tilt my phone but the landscape mode doesnt appear.it stays the same way.but when watching a video if i tilt the phone then it does appear in landscape mode.do i need to activate the landscape mode on or?
Did apple take this feature away in ios4?On my 3gs photos reorient themselves when I hold my phone horizontally. On my ip4, even when viewing pictures taken in landscape mode they do no orient themselves when I hold the phone horizontally.
