Jul 22, 2010I've searched and searched every link indicates I should just be able to attach the phone & copy video/pix using the camera/scanner option .well I can't. I've tried everything. I have a video made on my phone of a wedding...only ~5-10 minutes. At any rate I cannot figure out how to get it off my phone & to my PC. I copy via camera/scanner & after ~10 minutes get an error that states it could not copy .my photos work fine. I've tried to view the video via Quick Time (latest version) & it states that the .Mov file is not something Quick time understands.what's up? How can move the file from my phone to PC?

IPhone :: "Audio Source" Option Is Missing - No Audio To Headset
Mar 20, 2012iPhone 4S, now on 5.1.
This problem started recently. My bluetooth headset connects, and can trigger the call to be answered, but the iPhone doesn't use it as the audio source. In fact, the button that normally selects the sources, now shows only the speaker icon (and toggles speakerphone).
After updating to 5.1, it seemed to be fixed -- that same button again let me choose the audio source. That was yesterday, but today when I answered a call, it didn't go to the headset, and the source button again shows only the speaker icon.
The iPhone answers the call when I press the button on the headset. It's just not seeing any audio source.
I've powered on & off, not fixing the problem. I can't poinpoint the start of the trouble exactly -- it seemed to simply work one day and not work the next. I honestly don't remember if it coincided with updating to 5.01.

HTC One M7 :: Camera Randomly Lost Video Option
Apr 1, 2015My camera randomly lost the option to take videos recently (when I press the 4 circles in the corner of the camera screen, I only get the Camera or Selfie option, and the gallery preview square beside the shutter button has gone too). Also, after each photo, I get a tick or an arrow at the bottom, the arrow deletes the picture and lets you take another, the tick saves the picture and exits the app. Every time. This is no good if I am taking more than one picture.
I have just today upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop, and factory reset the phone, no joy in either case, but upon entering the app just once I got some funky photo booth option and another one too. Have booted it up in safe mode and the video options return, but after deleting any and all recently downloaded (since January) apps, nothing is bringing back the functionality.

Apr 3, 2015On my G3 I had the option of trimming videos which I had recorded. I can't remember if I ever had this functionality on my N5 (kitkat), but on my new N6 there's no such option. The edit option in the Photos app doesn't do anything with videos. Is this the same for everyone, and if so, what are you using to trim video footage.

They then killed Activesync support completely later the same day (Yeah, I know... why even roll the security policy?). Even after removing the Activesync acct, the video change has not reverted. Anyone know (hopefully short of a complete reinstall) of a way to completely revert Activesync security changes?

I went to take a video and noticed that I could only take a video in DVD quality or worse. There was no longer an option to take video in 780p or HD+ (1080p). I thought that happened because I didn't have much space left on my SD card. I later purchased a 32G Sandisk MicroSDHC. I thought that I would get back my HD and HD+ video options back after I installed the new card. This did not happen. I no longer can take HD+ video anymore. My settings in the video record mode no longer list HDor HD+. how to get the HD settings back? I tried clearing the cache and data in the camera app, but that didn't help.

Jun 2, 2011I manually pulled the gingerbread update from Systems Updates on my Droid X (stock, no root). The update was successful and today was the first day I needed to record a video using the camcorder application. I noticed that my phone defaults to DVD video quality and does not have the option for HD anymore. My wife has the same phone and we updated hers at the same time and she DOES have the HD option for the camcorder.
I have rebooted the phone as well as pulled the battery and let it sit for awhile all with no luck. Both have all the same version numbers except for PRL version, which I believeis just for roaming.
Nokia :: N97 - Charging - Did Not Show Any Light - Headset - Phone Looses The Connection With The Headset
May 12, 2010I have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger.
Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.
