IPhone :: Accidentally Created A New Apple Account On New 4, How To Merge Old And New Accounts
Jun 13, 2012I had an old account but had lost access to the email. In frustration I created a new account to use with iTunes on windows. Now history repeats itself and I've a new iPhone 4 that I want to load with data from both old and new accounts. Do I need to just go to the Genius bar next time I'm in town or is there some way to log into each account, back up the data and merge to the new account?

Nov 27, 2012basically what happened was she setup a new live account at the AT&T store on the phone, and accidently did a birthday of 10/16/2012 not 10/16/1980 so the phone automatically went into My Family mode and won't allow any apps to be downloaded. We've tried to log in to live.com and change the birthdate but it wont let you. We've called AT&T who then called Nokia, but nobody knows. Basically it's giving an error of "My Family setup needed - my family must be setup before you can buy this item. Ask your parent to setup My Family settings on windowsphone.com" when you download an app.

Jul 5, 2012The situation is that my friend originally had a @me.com account before iCloud existed. This [URL]account is a work account setup by her employer especially for her. She has used and still uses this [URL] for her iCallendars and iDisk. [URL]But before iCloud was realease, she bought an iPhone which she then synced with her mac. And she had to create an Apple ID. So she created and apple ID with... [URL]She used this Apple ID to sync with her mac for itunes. How ever, iCal was still using the [URL] for her work. OK now, iCloud was realeased, and her Apple ID got moved up to iCloud. So her iCal on her iPhone is using the Apple ID callenders which have nothing.[URL] expired about a week ago and this @me.com account had to move up over to iCloud. So she now has 2 iCloud accounts! With no option to move [URL] to her current Apple ID.

May 31, 2010Right from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?

May 11, 2010I have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off.Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. Jun 5, 2012All of a sudden, my Alias mail account name is telling me that the password or account name is incorrect.So I go into SETTINGS as the button appears for it, and I hit it check all the settings and the settings are fine, nothing has changed. I have not had this problem in over 5 years! Is this a symptom of iCloud going full, taking over MobileMe? I cancelled my MM account 3 months back and have not had any problems. Why has this problems suddenly started appearing? I was looking at the mail in the ALIAS account from the alias account. Now I am looking at it through my main account, which is also reacting slowly due to this problem.
