Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

Jun 16, 2010I updated from jailbroken 3.1.2 to 4 GM thinking it would erase all jailbreak data and give a clean install of 4. Everything went great but my 3GS doesn't have 3G data or MMS available. I've seen other with this problem but no solution.I'd like to just restore and start over- but when I try to restore in iTunes I get errors when it checks on Apple's servers.
