I got my iphone stolen right out of my bag and I am assuming there is no way of retrieving the phone back unless I have the Find My Iphone app? Jun 20, 2012I lost important notes while syncing my iPhone on my MacBook Pro. I have synced before, and know that the notes on my phone migrate to the MacBook Pro. If I want them back on the phone, I had to drag them back to the phone. So I synced notes and there was an option as to whether to keep or delete notes that were synced; I am quite sure that I chose, "keep." Now, I am unable to find those valuable notes on either device. Ouch. Can you help? Is there a backup type of place to recover them?

My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?
