Have downloaded an app to my M8 and it tells me it is installed, but I can't find it.
Have searched through my apps, but it doesn't show there, where I may find it.
Have tried another app, and still the same, shows installed, but cannot locate it.
I love my new Droid2 Global, but I'm frustrated at a problem I've encountered. After several successful app downloads, installs and activations, I find that when I download an app, it gets downloaded and installed, but no widget appears, so I'm unable to activate/use it. The widget appears as an installed application, but I still cannot activate it. I can uninstall them, but not activate them.

so i was downloading apps on my iphone 4s . so when you usally press install app it scrolls on the page were it shows the app being downloaded but my phone didnt do this it just comes back to the homepage of the iphone and i cant find the app ! but when i look for it in spotlight it shows the app.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've used the Ovi Suite 2.2.0.245 and connected with N900 but selected PC suite mode instead of Mass storage. I read alot that you have to select Mass storage for N900, but Ovi Suite won't then be connected with my phone, but works with PC suite.
I wanted to transfer country maps to the phone so I can use it offline. Selected the Map and downloaded and it said transfered to phone...so everything seems good. But when I go to open those maps on the phone...I can't find them anywhere at all! I'm not sure where they are.....I've check the 'ovi map', then the 'cities' folder but nothing. There are other files there but not titled with the cities i've downloaded. I tried to open those files anyways (having a "?" as their icon) and then selected I think 'Application' or something as ways to open the file.....then needed to download but 0kb...??? it then said unable to download, the file could be corrupted. So now..I'm stuck.
I don't know where the maps were transfered to. Oh and I check on the Ovi suite Map tab and selected my device, and it should alllll the cities and countries listed in my device (phone) already....but I can't find/open them on the phone.
I did tried to download and install iOS 5.1.1 software update but unsuccessful. How do I solve this problem? If not download and install will it effect to my iPhone 4s?

The update file can be downloaded but can not be installed. The phone is rooted and then unrooted. The SmartSwitch is also useless. There is no 5.1.1 Turkish rom when you search from Google.

I go fist to Settings > Themes > Select Theme > Themes >Options ... has four options ... Details , Type of view, sort and search. I have not found any " delete " option to delete the selected theme.
Checked for software update like 10 times and it finally came up. Downloaded already, rebooted and now installing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently using HTC ONE, and i downloaded pictures from internet using opera mini.... Usually you can find and SEE the pictures you downloaded under "album" right? BUT I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!
I did select "show all pictures" under the setting selection of the album on the top right corner, and the "album" selection on the top left. When i just finished downloading the picture with opera, there's a choice of "view the picture with album" and at this moment I CAN SEE THE PICTURE
BUT! if i close opera and try to open it through album directly, I can't find them at all.
I've tried saving the pictures under various folders, none of them work. The part that really confuses me is that when I open the folders on my computer through HTC ONE Sync Manager, let's say I saved it under "screenshots". I can see the pic that I downloaded sitting there with the rest of the screenshots in the folder just fine yet when I use the "album" app that came with the phone originally, I can still see the screenshots that i made with the phone but the pics that i downloaded and saved are gone! I was trying to save a pic and set it as my avatar last night and since i couldn't find it anywhere in the album in the end i had to take a screenshot of the photo, and then set my avatar through the screenshot pic (which is the one that could be viewed smoothly through album) .
