Downloaded Kindle Books Lost From IPhone After Hard Reset
Jun 6, 2014I have a bunch of books in my kindle library and had downloaded a subset of them to my iphone in the kindle app.Â
I was having issues with the iphone, and I ended up doing a backup/hard-reset/restore. Everything came back fine except my downloaded kindle books. Actually, when I first opened the kindle app, I saw the previously downloaded books listed in the "device" tab, but they soon disappeared.Â
Where does the kindle app store this info on my phone and why wasn't it saved/restored to/from the backup?Â
I can download those books again from the cloud, so nothing lost, but it is an annoyance - especially if one likes to have lots of books handy.Â

Mar 25, 2012I just started withg my iPhone 4S yesterday and it is great. I have been able to get rid of my other portable devices and put almost everything on the phone. I have one area left that I need to get a handle on, and that is keeping track of my prescriptions. I don't have many scripts, but I used my PDA to reference them when I went to the doctor's office as it was much easier to do it that way, than to carry a list. I would like to be able to launch an app and have it show these meds. At present I have them in a form of word document, with the med name, dosage and time taken on a line for each med.

Feb 23, 2012I'm getting a "Network connection lost" error shortly after the installation of a downloaded app is started. The status bar gets to about 15% and then the installation is interrupted. I've tried using WiFi and non-WiFi connections, but the result remains the same. My N8-00 was upgraded to the Belle OS over the weekend and it caused most of the apps to be uninstalled. Now I'm trying to get them back but fail to do so because of the error.

Apr 16, 2011I downloaded the app called Picmix from app world and decided I didn't like it, so I deleted the app after I done the reboot like it says to do after deletion of any app. I went into my media and then my pictures folder and all my pictures have gone from the camera folder and the folders I've created in there with my dogs. As I've deleted apps before and never had this happen, its the pics of my dogs I'm most upset about. Can I get them back in anyway or is that it? Also when I do reboot I have a pop saying "the media inserted have errors do you wish to repair the media card".

Aug 3, 2014Ive tried installing several adb driver files...UniversalAdbDriverSetup.msi, adb-setup-1.3.exe, this adb.exe from MID_Tablet_Root.zip.. plus a bunch of other randomass adb files trying to get my device recognized.
When I browse for the HTC driver from the list of devices on my computer the driver is located in the system32/DRIVERS folder... I dont know how it works but nothing says ADB in there. There are places that have ADB in my C: drive but when i try and change the driver location my computer says it is using the best driver for the device..
how do i get adb to list my device so that i can flash this rom to my phone which will only boot into recovery?

Nov 9, 2015Rooted and seeing this on 6p? I unlocked this phone, installed TWRP, and then installed the N6PanglerM ROM. When an app request root, I see the box appear and I can grant or deny, same as always. But in my app drawer, there is no listing for SuperSU. When I go to the Play store and look at SuperSU, it says installed but the Open and Uninstall buttons are both missing.
How I can get the SuperSU app to be visible?

Jun 30, 2012I use Motocast both on my phone and my web browser (when I'm on a PC away from home). The problem I'm having with the web interface of motocast is that when I go to my Videos, the directories are sometimes wrong but they are listed correctly on my phone. Here's an example, when I go to my videos I click on the TV Series directory. That takes me to all the directories in that folder, but, some of the Sub folders in there are showing up in place of the parent folder. So instead of the Firefly directory, I have a directory named Season 01.

Apr 14, 2010I transferred an album via 'mass storage' to my 5800 in the usual way. However, unlike before, when I looked at the album in the phone all the tracks are in Alphabetical order, not numerical. Thinking I'd made an error I reconnected the phone to the PC, and viewing the album in mass storage the tracks were still in track (numerical) order. I've never had this before and can't understand why the phone listing in the device should be different from the same file listed on the PC.

Have now changed calendar date to correct date but in my conversations list these two contacts always default to the top. I thought when I passed the date which I had incorrectly put in first this would remedy the problem. However I have now passed this date and these two contacts still aways default to the top of my conversations list. Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?
