Sep 8, 2015I suddenly lost inbox/outbox Yahoo mailings on my G3 phone after Sept 2. I never changed any settings. I still can use my Yahoo Mail account on the laptop with no problem. I do notice that when I go into settings, a message states that the phone was last synchronized on Sept 2. When I attempt to re-set, the phone remains on Sept 2.

Jan 18, 2010After I updated my E52 software the phone seems to have lost it's mail for exchange client. Setting up webbased email accounts like hotmail is no problem (though through Nokia Messaging), but when when I try to setup my work email it just tell me that the unit does not support any more accounts for workrelated e-mails (I don't have any option to choose mail for exchange).Before the update I had an option to choose to choose mail for exchange and it would ask me for domain and server and everything and it was no problem.As mail for exchange is supposed to be integrated in the E52 as part of nokias new emailing software (as far as I can read), I am not able to download and install the mail for exchange client separately (and I have tried by the way, but it refuses to install).Has anybody experienced similar problems after the software update, and/or do you have any solutions?

May 31, 2012My iphone mail app regularly requires restart to get mail flowing. That is it is running (doesn't crash) but will at time just stop getting email updates. I then have to force close the mail app (i.e. kill it) and then restart it. After restarting it the mail flows again.
Notes:
a) I do connect to Gmail for my mail - I'm using the IMAP facility for gmail currently (i.e. not the "Exchange" method)
b) I do also have the Google "Gmail" app running on my device too
c) on iPhone 3GS, latest version of IOS

Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

May 2, 2012When I'm out and about, I pick up my mail on my iPad and/or on my iPhone. I HATE having to sift through the duplicates. I know I can delete the emails from the server as they are being downloaded, and that would solve the problem between the iDevices. But I still want a copy of them downloaded into Outlook on my desktop for future reference, so deleting them from the server before Outlook gets ahold of them does not seem like a good idea.I currently have a POP3 account, but I could move onto an Exchange Server or into iCloud or something else if that would solve the problem.

Jun 7, 2010This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.

Mar 19, 2010I just sent an e-mail to myself from my blackberry and chose to send from my gmail account, but instead it just decided it might be better to send it from my work e-mail address? How do I fix this? It's absolutely unacceptable and I really hate to know who else now has my work e-mail address because of this. My phone tells me it sent from the correct e-mail address, but the address showing up in the e-mail where I received it says my work e-mail address was the sender.
If it was mixing up my gmail accounts that'd be irritating, but not a big deal - but the fact that it's just sending out of my work e-mail is a serious problem - does anyone know how to fix this?
