Mar 1, 2010Updated my E72's firmware last week - and the GPS geo tagging feature is still missing... Any chance that is shows up in a future f/w update?

Nokia :: N96 - New Firmware Version 30.033 And Camera Feature Not Supported
Jan 12, 2010I updated my Nokia N96 to the new firmware version 30.033 after which my phone camera is not working. When I press on the camera button it gives the message (Camera Feature not Supported). I played many tricks with it but of no use. I reset my phone to the original factory setting through (*#7370#) and Multi-finger process but of no help. I even reinstalled the updated version but the problem still persists. My camera worked fine before the update but now it gives the said message and the phone hanges up on pressing the camera button. I request nokia developers to help fix this problem and check their updates for buge before uploading them to the server to save users from problems & worries.

Mar 9, 2010I just bought a 5800 and updated to latest firmware.
Everything works fine except the camera. When I active the camera I can see that the application is started (seeing the indication in the menu) BUT I can't see the application. Thus I cannot take pictures.
Another question I have. Is there a setting in the emailsetup to prevent emails being deleted from the server when I deleted them on the phne?

Feb 5, 2010I updated 3 weeks ago my E72's firmware, after i done this my phone became a "little" slow.
If I use my video camera the image gets to be stuck every 5 seconds, when I watch the video on my pc or even on the E72, the sound is good but the images are most of the time mixed up or stuck...
also: when i put up a connection like making a call or browsing on the internet, the time it takes to connect to the server is ALOT longer...the camera and the connection worked a bit better before the firmware update...(BTW this is my first bad xp with Nokia, normally a business phone is close to bug free. This is close to no-wurth-selling...)

Feb 7, 2010I updated my phone to firmware version 30.033 via NSU which caused my phone`s camera not working any more, while prior to the update it worked fine. When I press on the camera main button or open it from the menu, it gives a strange message " camera feature not supported" and the camera application can not be closed then till the phone is powered off. Then phone can not be downgraded to the previous or lower firmware. Hard reset to factory setting does not work.

Sep 7, 2015I updated the phone ( OTA ) to 5.1.1. This updated was supposed to bring some improvements and features ( RAW support ) to the camera. I didn't received them so I tried to update the camera firmware manually.
I entered in the "CameraFirmware Standard" panel ( *#34971539# ) and press "Phone to Cam FW Write", but a pop-up appeared showing "F/W Update fail". Next thing I tried was to flash another stock rom, but this didn't fix it.
The camera is working flawlessly, it's just that I don't know how to update it to the latest firmware. Anything is stock on the phone.

Oct 20, 2011trying to find out what this camera update actually does. My camera worked perfectly well but when I was on the Samsung Apps I noticed the camera firmware update which I downloaded. ow I have a little icon on my application folder and just wonder if this is a genuine app? and if so why is it not uploaded when I look for a software update on the phone or via Kies. Jan 7, 2010C905. It's a great phone and I have it for almost a year now. But yesterday I did a firmware update and now if I take a photo with the camera I can't find where it stores it. If I look at my pictures they're not there. I checked my settings and it should be saving the pictures on my memory card. I checked the remaining space on my memory card after taking picture and it changes. If I take a pictures it also says it's saving it. If I let it save on the mobile phone itself I can find them and I can find my videos on my memory card too.

May 15, 2011Just updated via Samsung Apps the camera firmware to a CDE11 or something version. Took 4 minutes to update and flash this firmware. I wonder what exactly it changed in the camera firmware? Hopefully improved things or bug fixes.I will test a few videos and see if the bitrate has changed or not.
