Nov 30, 2014Ok, so it started like two days ago. I tried to send a picture through iMessage and it didn't show, although it did send. Whenever someone sends me a picture it shows for a second and it turns into an empty chat bubble like this:

Jun 3, 2014When I go to send a picture on iMessage it will say "Delivered" and then a few seconds later the red alert pops up saying that the message failed to deliver. I've asked people if they've received my pictures and they say no. The pictures will only send as a text message. The rest of my iMessage messages work just fine though. What's going on?

Jun 6, 2014My iPhone 5 sends and receives text iMessages just fine, but I cannot send any pictures. Â
Whenever I try to send a picture, iMessage indicates at first that the picture has been "delivered". Then, about 10 seconds later, it changes the status to "not sent". The picture never goes through.  I can send the picture as an MMS/Text, just not as an iMessage.Â
I've tried resetting my carrier/network settings, turning off/on iMessage, rebooting the phone multiple times, removing the SIM card and everything else I can think of without any success.

Jun 30, 2014my iPhone will receive iMessages normally if they are just text. However, when someone sends me a picture iMessage it will only send to my iPad, which is connected through my apple account.

Jul 1, 2014It doesn't say it's not delivered right away but a minute after it was sent. I don't use any other devices for iMessage. I was in a group chat with two other people and they were having the same problem. I've tried resetting my network settings then I reset all settings and it didn't work. I also tried turning off iMessage for a while and it didn't work. What's up with this?

The picture would initially show it was delivered as an iMessage then after a few seconds would show the Not Delivered message. Mar 14, 2012when I send a picture message to someone with an iPhone 4s who doesn't have wi fi on, the message goes as a text message. This is fine for normal text messages but pictures are expensive to send. Is there any way to set it so it sends normal text messages if the receiver has no wi fi but never sends picture messages as text?

Mar 21, 2012I have an 4 and an iPad. I recently moved to Germany and do not have cell service. A friend mentioned iMessage to me, and I immediately began using it. However, on my iPhone, when I try to message someone new; I can't. They have to eniciate the conversation with me. And now when I try to respond to some people I already have an iMessage with it changes from blue to green for SMS, which I obviously cannot do without service. My friend suggested turning iMessage off and then back on. Now it says waiting for activation. Why? My ipad works fine.

I've got a Belgian (Mobile vikings) subscription for my mobile internet. Since I've got this, i've been trying to receive my iMessages through my number. This does NOT work. I've tried to reset my text system of my provider, doesn't fix anything. I've resetted my iPhone, no result. And so on...
The weirdest thing is, I've installed my AppleID to receive the messages, and that works! So i can receive on my AppleID, but not my number...
When I try to reconnect, it keeps 'controlling'/'checking' for 15min and that he says it has failed...

Apr 9, 2012I just decided to try iMessage today, after turning it on, entering my apple id, all set to go, but no, it doesnt work I can go into the create imessage where its blue not green and i type out the message. Then send. It says sending before failing when the bar reaches the end. The reciever does not recieve the message.(also dont u think it would be great having facetime on 3gs, and how do u create a personal hotspot on a 3gs?)

When I try sending IMessage through IPhone 4S, it works fine (using wifi, that is) but not with iphone 3GS (wifi or cellular network)
