Jan 27, 2010My internet provider changed protocol for username for email account. Changed on computers successfully, not able to do it on BlackberryBold 9900. I went to email accounts, highlighted the account, pressed menu button to change username. But there is no edit option in the menu. there is validate, delete, etc. no edit. have no idea what to do. Unless the username is changed i cant receive emails.

Dec 24, 2011I have an issue with the wifi connection...my x10 mini pro is recognising my home network but it isn't connecting...it was all well until i had a problem in my router and had to change the username and password...this latest username and password had not been updated in my phone and hence it just recognises or finds my home network but doesn't connect...where can i change the username of my home network in the phone? Until i change the username i cannot connect to the network...so plz help me out! I've tried re-booting phone and router as well..and tried "forget" network,search n connect again..nothing worked! Jun 7, 2012I want to change the iCloud Account Information under Settings on my iPhone4s. The "Apple ID" that shows up will not allow me change it. Somewhere I read that you can only change it once every 90 days. Is there any way around it. I used an old iTunes Apple ID, belonging to a family member. Now that they have their own iPhone, I need to change my phone to show MY new Apple ID for iCloud, not the family members. When they delete Contacts or do things, I am being affected. Is a complete restore my only option?

May 27, 2012I have struggled over this for days. I recently lost the internet provider on my old internet account which was my old Apple ID. I successfully changed my Apple ID in ITunes to a new permanent email address. I cannot change the settings on the App store or ICloud. The suggested solutions for this problem have not worked for me because there is no option for changing the old Apple ID. When you tap on it, it does not change. I have tried signing in with the Old Apple ID (the old email account) and it doesn't work either. I have synced my phone (and lost my contacts in the process but that was an entirely different headache!) to no avail.
Some of the solutions stated that I should go to the store and tap on the Apple ID and it would allow me to change...no such luck. Also when I tried Iforgot, it would only let me change my password which is not really any help because the problem is the Apple Id.

The account was working perfectly and nothing changed. I still use the email on my desk top so I know it is valid. It may even fetch the mail occasionally.
