I'd like to factory reset my Lollipop smartphone. But I have many pictures, downloaded from the web, shared by friends or taken with the stock camera, which I have tagged with my contact names, added google map geolocation, categories. I've done all of that within the native Android gallery app.
If I copy such images to another folder, the copy does not show the infos I previously added. It is the same if I make a copy on my laptop. So, is there any app to export those metadata, which are not supposedly included in the image file?
I have recently installed Apple Music on my Nexus and use it via bluetooth to my Skoda Octavia Amundsen unit. When I play a track no album/artist info is sent. If I play some google play music first and then go back into apple music the metadata now picks up and everything works fine. Obviously this is annoying since I want my car to start playing when I enter it and I don't want to mess around switching apps.
I am not sure why it doesn't work at first but then works after google play music has been used for a few seconds.
How to remove or change the copyright metadata from the phone so I don't have to in lightroom? Right now the default is "Copyright 2012 Nokia Corporation" I want to change or remove it.

I have 15GB of storage on the iCloud and am wondering:
1) Once they are on the Cloud, can I delete them from my iPhone or does that delete the image?Â
2) How do I access the cloud for my photos (esp. with a PC)?
How to confirm that song metadata shows up on their car stereo when streaming over Bluetooth? I have a Kenwood deck that pairs and streams fine, but metadata are never displayed. Before I take it up with Kenwood, I want to confirm that the feature does in fact work with other units (and thus isn't a problem with the phone).
View 10 Replies View RelatedJust updated the software on my iphone 4, and it now has the nifty icon for the camera on the scroll bar. Excellent feature, as described by other forums users, BUT, is anyone else concerned that it also gives complete access to all the photos on the phone as well. As well, as the ability to delete photos.

My iPhone 5S, less than a year old, began locking up last night. I cannot do an update, access iCloud, photos, app store updates, and sometimes even the phone. Once I click on it it doesn't let me go any further. It will let me hit the home button and back out to the home screen, but nothing else.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem accessing photos and videos taken using my N8. Usually, such files are accessible by plugging it to a computer, with the phone either set to PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode. That was before. Now I can't. I've just noticed it just a week ago or so, and this problem still continues until now.I'm not sure what caused this, and I didn't have this problem before. I'm not sure either if this problem was caused by my recent update to Nokia Belle.Old photos and videos taken are completely accessible but the new ones I've recently captured are not accessible via PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode. It does not show in my PC or my laptop (both runs on Windows 7). The photos and videos are only accessible in the phone itself. The only way for me to transfer recently taken photos and videos is by sending it via Bluetooth to my laptop, which is very time consuming.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy E71 has been acting a bit strange since I installed this one specific app. I since have removed the app. Now a number of things have disappeared such as all of my photos. However, my memory card still show that is being occupied with the same amount of Data 4.97 GB of the near 8 GB. Is it possible that these photos can still be accessed somehow?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend dropped her phone and the screen has smashed on the inside but there is no smash on the outside. She is getting a replacement phone but wants to retrieve her photos from her old phone. I have tried installing samsung kies but I cannot access anything as she has a passcode on the phone. All the button still light up but the screen just doesnt respond and is constantly black. When I connect the USB cable to the phone nothing happens either and I cannot access the files through my computer to even drag and drop them.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a friend who has just had a baby. She made photos with het Galaxy S6.. But all of a sudden her phone won't recognize her fingers and doesn't unlock.
She also doesn't know her password anymore since she never had to use that again. I know it is possible to recover the phone but then it will also remove all the photos.
I tried connecting the phone to the computer, it shows a folder named Galaxy S6 but I can't acces it (the phone says unlock phone to view content)
She only wants the photo's once they are back she can reset the phone.
I'm new to android and just got a Nexus 5 and have a question about Google Messenger/Google Photos.
I'm saving all my photos on Google backup in order to preserve storage on my device. And in some apps (like Line), I am able to send pics directly from the online storage, but with Messenger it can't access any photos unless they are saved to the device (local storage).
Is there a way to get around this? Or do I have to manually "download" any photos I want to send prior to sending a mms?
I'm running Android 6.0.1. The phone was used, but it had a factory reset when I bought it, so I don't think there's anything funky going on with 3rd party apps.
I was wondering if anyone else ran into this difficulty ... I just updated the Blackberry Desktop Software, and thank goodness it's stopped using Roxio bloatware to transfer my photos off of my phone (Pearl 8110). Unfortunately, the new MediaSync doesn't sync with the internal memory of my phone, so it appears that my photos are stranded for the moment. I was wondering if anyone else had run into this problem, and what solution you would recommend. I looked through the technical support docs, and I don't think I found anything that fits this.
1) Do I have to find an older version of the Blackberry Desktop software, transfer the photos, then upgrade again to the newest version with Media Sync and purchase a microSD card?
2) If I purchased a microSD card and installed it, would directing the camera to store on the microSD card automatically move over the photos I've already taken?

I will be traveling abroad with my new iphone 4S and will need to make calls for reservations during my trip. To prevent abroad fees for voice calls, I am planning on leaving the phone on AIRPLANE MODE 'ON' with WIFI 'ON' (along with CELLULAR DATA 'OFF' just in case) and make my calls with Skype when I find a Wifi. If I understand correctly, it's OK so far...?
However if I received a call, I guess it will go in my voice mail? Will I a receive a Voice Message notification...? and how? Could I listen to the message through wifi or must I turn back the cellular service on (AIRPLANE MODE 'OFF'), which I would not want to do...

One time I edited photos from my Camera Roll taken from our trip. About 6 of em i think. Then it crashed, gave me a black screen so i had to restart my phone. The next morning when i check my PHOTOS, the 6 photos were gone!! Now, while I was on Skype video chat, I took maybe 10 screenshots and of course you're able to hear the shutter every time. But when I check my PHOTOS, they are not there! I feel really bad because the photos i took were very important to me. I am so worried that this will happen again if i go on trip or capture a precious moment and find out that i got nothing.
