Nokia :: 3120 Classic - How To Restore Display Menu
May 7, 2010I was recently personalizing my Nokia 3120 classic and was trying to see what I preferred regarding the display (essentially the home screen). When I pressed the 'up' navigation button and then 'options' to changes what was displayed, I set all parts of the display to empty (when I first bought it, it was populated with a line of application/function icons - left to right in the top-most row, the date and time in the second row and 'notes' in the third row).
Now I can't get anything back, and none of the Menu functions allow me to make any changes to this part of the display. Restoring factory settings does not restore this either. There is no intuitive way for this to work on the 'home' screen as the options function doesn't exist any more (emptying the rows has removed the function altogether).

Dec 3, 2014I am trying to disable the top pull down menu from my lock screen. Just about every single time I pull my phone out of my pocket to preview any notification(s), the pull down menu covers everything and blanks it out. It's not a huge deal, but just really annoying when I want to respond to a specific notification immediately, or even just preview the notifications. I don't use the pull down menu ever, so I would permanently disable it, if even possible.

May 6, 2010N96 was working fine until two weeks ago, hasnt been dropped or damaged so i can only think its the update of software.i have reset it and still i have the same problem.If I slide open to answer calls or messages or use the menu's by opening it as if to use the media player (ie slide down) it works fine. If I slide up i get a blank screen and it takes absolutely ages to get the menu n screen When a call comes in screen goes blank except for a few lines (top middle)

While being in the search screen, when I tap the home button (to return to the 1st menu screen) it actually returns me to the first menu screenas it should but does not remove (hide) the search keybord! So, half of the menu screen is hidden under the keyboard. I can scroll to the 2nd screen and so on but I cansee (and tap) only the half of each screen as the other half is under the keyboard ... I solve the problem either by restartingthe phone or by just pressing the power button (getting the phone in sleep mode and then come back).

Mar 9, 2014In the last couple of days I have been unable to use any browser on my HTC One (9 months old and never had a problem before).
I had been using the default browser or Chrome. Now when I try to use them they randomly shut down and return to the menu screen. This usually happens within a few seconds of opening and is not linked to any action I'm making.
I tried installing Opera and Firefox but both have the same issue.
Other symptoms I've noticed:
- Keyboard takes ages to appear and often disappears after I have entered only one character in the address/search
- Phone has slowed down
- Battery life has fallen dramatically (running power saver and lasting less than a day where it had been fine previously)
I recently updated Chrome but not sure if the 2 are related. I'm running android 4.3 and HTC Sense 5.5.

Aug 26, 2014I have a problem with my iPhone 5s (version 7.1.2)..i was about to restore the iPhone, but iTunes kept telling me to close ''find my iPhone'' and i tried severial times to do that but it didn't work..so i decided to delete it from iCloud, and delete everything.. And after that i turned it on DFU mode to restore it.
It starts fine with '' connect to iTunes'' and i did that, so it can restore its original settings, but when the load bar on my iPhone screen reach to the last, it just doenst move anymore, I've been waiting for hours, but nothing happens..and i've tried many different things, such as restart both mac and iPhone
Everything is up to date (iTunes, and my mac)i tried different computer, a windows and other usb cabel...i also tried Recboot, but nothing has worked.. and now its just stucked in ''connect to iTunes''

Sep 8, 2014I backed up my old 3G phone and have been trying to restore the backup to my new iphone 4 but it will not do it. IT seems to complete the process, but then the phone just keeps returning to the 'hello' screen when the itunes process has finished, therefore you have to try and redo it again and the same thing happens. I have tried an older backup too so I don't think it's the back up files causing the issue.Â

My phone's screen keeps blacking out and to restore the front screen applications I have to keep switching it off then back on again. I've been to the nokia dealer with this issue but they sent me back home and suggested I keep trying the update. I've been trying this but the nokia software installer in my computer suggests it cannot find my mobile when connected through the usb cable (even though my pc detects the connection). I dont know what I'm doing wrong, can someone suggest something else and also what is the latest version I can get?

Jul 1, 2010It keeps telling me that the c: memory is full and that i should delete some items, however when i try to, there is hardly anything on the c:. Also the phone only works sporadically for about five minutes after switching on and after that the menu button and the touch screen do not work properly and i am unable to make any calls or texts, but can still recieve calls.
Also it is telling me that the sim memory is full and remains full despite deleting text messages. Has anyone else experienced such problems or know how i can fix these problems?
