I used this feature about 3 months ago, but now when I launch the camera app, I can't seem to find the panorama button anymore? Did Apple temporarily remove it? Anyways, is there anything I could do to get it back?
I recently got a Nokia 5800. In the call log of earlier generation (nonSymbian) Nokia phones one could select a recent number (dialed, received or missed) and scroll through all recent calls for that number. For dialed or received numbers it also showed the duration of each call. On the 5800 all I can see is the number and time of the latest call for each number.
wanting Apple to update their camera so we can take panoramic photos on the phone 4. I love the outdoors and use my iPhone for tracking and a few other things but would love to take panoramic photos while ontop of the mountains....
Is it possible to take a vertical panoramic photo? For example, I want to take a photo of a VERY tall tree, standing only a few metres from it's trunk. Obviously I will need to take multiple photos as I cannot fit the whole tree in one shot.
I'm using Google Camera.
I go into Panoramic mode, and the phone knows which way is up and down, so it doesn't matter if I hold the phone portrait or landscape (I've tried both).
I've also tried having auto rotate screen enabled and disabled.
Each time the phone automatically locks on doing a normal panoramic shot which is joining individual photos to each other on the sides (horizontally, left and or right).
So basically, I want it to go vertically, up and or down. Can this be done?
I know, panoramic by definition means wide view. But I still want to take a (long) photo of this awesome tree!
I have an LG G3, rooted, running Bliss Pop ROM, Android 5.1.1.
When I use my camera in panoramic mode the images that should auto take after the first image are too far apart. (Almost 90 degrees) This mode used to work with an earlier release of Android (2.2) but hasent worked since 2.3.4. Is there some setting I need to fix? Is this a bug with the camera app?
Before I upgrade my iPhone 4s to IOS 5.1.1 I could use my phone as an hotspot to other devices. But after the upgrade to ios 5.1.1 I cannot anymore. Is there a way to restore that functionality?
My 4s iphone suddenly has a 200% enlarges screen and is not working properly. when i reset it works but this happens once a day at least. How to solve it?
I have a Lg G3 and i want to use a micro sd card but the mount and erase sd card functions are grayed out so i can't access thwm. How can i access those functionalities?
I do not have the send function on my device to send a media file via bluetooth. I have a Blackberry Torch, and my carrier is MTN South Africa.Example: I have a number of media files that I have dowloaded but when I try to send these from my device to another there is no send function available via the menu.
How this work "Side lock Key functionality”. Should we Change Something in Settings?? or somewhere else? And How Should We USE IT??? by Holding The Key In Up And Down Position?
I own an E7 and initially it had an option to select Walk for GPS navigation. I found it useful as it gave a short route to my destination.
Now that option has been taken away from Maps and we only have a Drive option and normal Maps which doesnt give route suggestions. The Drive gives only routes where cars are allowed and hence cutting across through a one-way is not given. This is not useful when one is walking.
In Nokia Pureview 808 gallery should be more functional. For example, send option should be added to gallery. Send with Bluetooth, email, etc. In its current state, the options for gallery is very limited.
I've been a blackberry user for almost 2 months now and I've been able to surf the internet with,no problem using the blackberry browser. I've been accessing my email through the browser because I don't use blackberry enterprise server. But for the past month, whenever I try to access websites where I need to log in e.g. gmail, yahoomail, etc., the browser always says "your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on."
I already tried the advice given by different users like:
1.) Turning off the blackberry phone, removing the battery and reinserting it.
2.) Changing the blackberry default browser configuration from blackberry to internet explorer to firefox
3.) Changing the browser settings into hotspot browser in the Options icon. i.e. Open < Options > go to < Browser > then change the default configuration to < Hotspot Browser >. In this case, I can access my email when I use the wifi available in the area but not when I use the Blackberry browser using my mobile service provider's internet service.
I have upgraded to android 2.1. I am unable to use sync funtionality. Even when the connection is perfect and also the user login details are correct, I am unable to sync the phone data with the online data and hence the error is being shown to check the account settings.
As hard as I try not to I still accidentally hit those web access buttons. I try to remember to hit the end button every time I put the phone down, but I keep racking up internet access time. Three hours at on time and many other shorter instances as well. I know this is one of the main design features of this phone, but it's not the reason I bought it. I liked the other features on the phone and figured there would be an easy way to disable web access.
I noticed the the other day that the left button on my s5 has stopped working and no longer pulls up the open applications. This means I can no longer clear them out or toggle from one app to the other? What is causing this? Im using Next Launcher.
I got my BB Bold 9900 in the US from T-Mobile. I moved to Australia and now have a local carrier SIM card. I aven't been able to access BB Protect or access my emails (Gmail servers) or be able to use my 9900 as a hot spot.
Why is this not happening for the Xoom? For a device of this caliber it is a no brainer, but yet it doesn't exist. Without using alternative measures is anything in the works from Motorola or Google? I'm not really interested in a manager that dictates my device like iTunes does, but more along the lines of a system image creator/restorer.
I've just left iOS for Android and the thing I missed the most from my iphone is the light-up-lock-screen functionaly in which I don't have to pick-up my phone to see the notification light up on my locked screen. Instead of this cool feature, my S6 gives a vibration or the LED lights up without automatically light up the screen which is annoying cause I need to pick up my phone and hit the home button to see the notifications. Can I had this feature on my besides that superb S6?
Noted previously that the "Favorites" widget now requires extra steps to manage which contacts are in or out of the widget and where they appear.
This retro less-intuitive-but-more-steps disease seems also to have struck Apps Groups. TPTB that they assign the designer for the folder replacement to manage the whole GUI. Or at least give her/him veto over going backwards.
Don't mean to be snotty, but when my 2012 phone has built-in apps from 1995, I become despondent and irritable.
Microsoft BT mouse 5000 still pairs, but doesn't connect.A Dell/Logitech BT mouse from late 2007 pairs and connects. The pointer has a blue outline. The left mouse button will select a hotlink, and double clicking zooms/dezooms as with finger tap. Highlighting of text selections is not available, so cut and paste of text is not possible. The mouse can grab a widget in a window, and left click allows dragging right or left to a different window. The right mouse button seems nonfunctional. The Moto BT KB will function simultaneously with the mouse. I haven't had time to test BT audio yet.
P990i wireless LAN functionality. Advice please. I just had a look through the PDF manual for the P990i but couldn't find the answer, so I am hoping that someone here as the answers.
1. WiFi Ad Hoc network I note that one can connect to Hotspots but can one connect to an Ad Hoc network, say a laptop, and if so how/what settings (or is an app needed)?
2. WiFi file browsing I would like to be able to connect to another computer by WiFi, see the files on that computer and to be able to exchange files between the two devices by WiFi. Is this possible?
3. WiFi file transfer If browsing is not possible I would at least like to be able to send files from and to the P990i by WiFi. Is this possible? (I note that the Send option of the inbuilt file browser has options only for Bluetooth and IR)
4. WiFi back-up device I would be extremely happy if I could use the P990i as a backup device.
What I would like to be able to do is to set my laptop or camera to automatically send files to the P900i by WiFi and for the P990i to receive them into a folder on the external Memory Stick. Is this at all possible?
I always press it by accident, I'd love to pop a the power menu (long press) instead of turning off the screen on a "standard" press.my Nexus 5 is right now unrooted, so I rather have a solution that doesn't depend on that, but if there is no other way, I'll do that..
