View 7 Replies View RelatedA couple weeks ago I put a needle (needle and thread) on my phone screen for like 2 seconds, the needle rolled to the side and went between the screen and he side of the phone, as I tried to get it out it went in further and was pushed behind the screen on Saturday I took the phone a part, managed to get the needle out and put the phone back together. Once it was back together I switched it back on and now the call/menu/return and end call buttons are not working. They do click when pressed but they don't actually do anything anymore. So I retook the phone a part just to make sure I didn't snag anything or move anything to which I found I had not.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've somehow managed to make several 911 calls by accidentally pocket-dialing off the lock-screen. Is it possible to disable this? Once the lock screen (with PIN) comes up, the emergency call button is fairly prominent.
I'm trying Hidden Lock now and it does allow me to remove the emergency call button entirely, but after unlocking, I still have to slide to unlock (so it's a double-action to unlock from the PIN).
Does the samsung dialer not have any way to mute your microphone while on a call?
View 2 Replies View RelatedUnless I never noticed it I was wondering is there an option where I can ignore a call if I don't know the phone number? The reason I ask is I will be in the United States from July 30 - August 27, however I already purchased an American calling plan that gives me 100 roaming free minutes when I make or recieve a call. Anyway it also turns out my number is 1 digit off from the University of Toronto, so there have been a few times when I got phone calls from people thinking that's who they are calling. Now the reason why I am asking is if I can ignore some calls is just incase I see a phone number I don't know while I am in the United States, so I don't want to pick it up and I don't want it going to my voice mail incase they leave me one and then I need to call it and delete it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought an unlocked blackberry 9780 a week ago for my son from a local store near my house. Yesterday, when I gave the phone to my son on his birthday, it turned on and everything went alright. He was so happy with it until he discovered that the Call Button (the green one) does not work. We tried turning the phone on and off several times, but it still did not work. I took the phone back to the store and he told me the phone had a defect, but he did not have any more 9780 to replace mines. So he told me to contact the Blackberry Company for a replacement.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I got my 950 XL at the MS Store event in NYC last night and I have to say that so far I really like the phone.But... one of the features I was really looking forward to was the call recording. I had this on my Motorola with Windows 6 Mobile and I used it all the time.
I went into Settings > System > Phone, scrolled down to the bottom and changed "Choose the app you want to use to manage recorded phone calls" to "Voice Recorder" but when I am in a phone call there is no record button. T-Mobile is my provider and I do have 2 sims installed.
i am using bb9380 curve, suddenly when i turn off my mobile because im charging then turn it on again, i cant find call button. right now i cant make a call and received as well?what i will do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust wondering why the X10 mini pro doesn't have the end call button at the top like the X10 Maxi (power button) ? The lack of having this feature is absurd. The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.

I know a thousand and one people have complained about this, and I've been scouring the internet for an hour and a half reading stories. My Blackberry Storm2 (bought yesterday) has that issue with the buttons (green call button and red end call button, at the bottom) where they just don't click properly. Sometimes it does, most of the time it's either a bunch of little clicks when pressed or it doesn't recognize at all until you press it twice or more.
Aside from that, the phone appears to work just fine, and the bottom button issue is just irritating for now.I just want to know, is it worth it to go return it for this problem? Is it going to get worse with time? I don't want to go exchange for another phone that's going to be worse off or just has the same problem, which has happened to so many people.
Does anyone have this issue with their Blackberry and have kept it with the problem and it's hanging in there just fine? Is this phone even going to MAKE IT for 1-2 years?! Anyone have positive durability stories?
When I select a contact from my list n hit call button or dial a number and hit call button the screen switches off even though the call is going on still. For example if I want to give a missed call it is not possible as the screen is going blank. Is there any setting for it?

View 9 Replies View Relatedi have recently brought a sony xperia z3+. Love the phone and everything is fine. Until a day or two ago. Everytime i make a call the screen goes dark. View 9 Replies View RelatedOn my old Galaxy S3 you could send a call straight to voice mail by pressing the down volume button. Does the G3 have a similar feature? I get 3 or 4 calls a day that I don't recognize and instead of just ignoring them, if I could send them to voice mail to see if they are legit enough to leave a message. I have Mr. Number because I do get other spam calls and I also get those unblockable numbers like 0000000 or 43 or something like that.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI really like and enjoy my Droid Pro. I do experience an occasional annoyance, however. View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Blackberry Curve 8530 last month, and everything has been going smoothly up until the past week or so.Every time I hit the "End Call" button it results in the Blackberry typing out the letters "NM" repeatedly. If I keep hitting it, it just types out "Nmnmnmnmnmnmnm" ... I have tried a battery pull, multiple times. I've tried a software update. I don't know what else I can do to fix it.
It's driving me insane, I'm in love with my new BB (first time user!), but this is really killing the enjoyment. I've read about this problem with other phones and I'm worried it might move on to other letters and keys, forcing me to not be able to use the phone at all.If anybody can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I've combed these forums for hours looking for a solution, but to no avail. Someone want to give a BB newbie a break?
Does anyone know how to do this?I usually press answer and then press the speakerphone button but surely there is a way to answer the call and go to speakerphone in one button.I dont want a default speakerphone option as I only require this function while driving.
