My iPhone 5S is about five months old and the network constantly disappears into "Searching...". I've done everything from restarting my device, to a hard reset, to a network settings reset, and even replaced my SIM card but I'm still plagued with the problem. It's not got to do with the network, because that seems to be working fine for everyone else in the country.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad my Nexus 5 for about a month now, and have loved it till this morning, it decided to just shut off (full battery too) and i tried to turn it on and it is now just constantly starting up to the "Google" splash screen then shutting off.
Sometimes it gets to the the 4 color circles then shuts off.
Just now got through to start up and the screen flashed on and off and by the time i got to settings crashed and shut off again. I can't even get it to stop trying to turn on!
If I switch my Network mode to 3G the phone will begin to randomly restart. If I set it the Network mode to GSM the phone works fine.

Very often, while Im in the games, it will say it is searching for the network, or it is doesn't have a network connection.I've switched to WiFi when I can, and still have the issue.I've noticed when I look at he phone now, the 4G symbol is white, then turns blue.seem to remember it always being blue.Does it sound like it's the games having the issue, the games causing the issue, or an issue with the phone?I would prefer to NOT do a hard reset. It always takes me about 2 or more hours to get the phone back the way I want it.Is anyone noticing the same thing, or does anyone have any thoughts
View 13 Replies View RelatedHave a BB curve 9300 3g, software ver 6. on a payg contract with Tesco. It worked fine until this morning when I noticed it was rebooting (the same as a battery pull) constantly. It would boot, update security and reboot again. Finally managed to switch off wifi and mobile network to see if this made a difference and the rebooting stopped. I've since switched on wifi, and this is fine.
But as soon as the mobile network is turned on it will try to obtain a signal and within 2 or 3 seconds will start rebooting again. I've tried it with different battery, different sim, with and without microsd card, deleting all apps, upgrading software to latest version etc etc but nothing works. Right now I have a mobile phone which is of no use as it cannot receive a mobile signal.
My phone connects to my home wifi network, but then when I go to open and use any app internet related, it doesn't work and says to check my connection. The sync icon in the top screen is constantly going, so I thought maybe it would have something to do with that (I am really not good with anything technology related so I don't know). I did a hard reset and nothing changed. Also, I am able to connect wirelessly on my laptop and other devices. It was honestly working one minute, not working the next. I didn't download or make any changes to anything on my phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter puchasing my iphone 4s last Sunday, the very first thing I noticed out of the box was that I needed to reconnect to my "home" wifi network constantly. After browsing the infinite amount of discussions regarding this issue, I realized this is not an isolated issue with my hardware. Monday, I attempted a connect to my "work" wifi network, and had absolutly no problems all day long. I determined that the only difference between wifi networks relating to my iphone was the wireless security setting. My home wifi was originally setup as WEP, my work wifi is currently setup as WPA2.Tuesday, I accessed my wifi router settings (Linksys wrt54g)> udpated wireless security settings from WEP to WPA2.Problem solved.Since I was not able to track down any easy solutions to this problem within all of the ongoing discussions, I wanted to share this info.

The phone does not load properly and can not connect to the mobile operator's network when switched on, if it was off with the included Wi-Fi. When you turn on an error. Moreover, in Russia, this error is only at the largest operator - MTS. Replacing the SIMcard does not work?
View 1 Replies View RelatedDon't know if it's just me, but occasionally I'll get my Wi-Fi tab (in Action Center and Settings) reporting that networks are "available" but it can't connect to any. Even my own network to which I connect all the time.
I have discovered that after a Reboot everything is back to normal. Wi-Fi connects fine.
I seem to have isolated it to when you leave a premises still connected Wi-Fi and let it drop-off you get this behaviour.
But surely you shouldn't have to turn Wi-Fi off every time you leave a place!!!
I me using bb 8520 curve i have deactivate the data service from my phone but i don't want to switch of my network from manage connections i want to use both wifi and network because my cell should be switch on 24/7 in short i want to use wifi along with making and recieving calls

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a known issues with the 950XL (or Win 10 in general) regarding wifi stability. My 950XL refuses to stay connected to the 5.0GHz wifi network. After reboot it will find and connect to the network fine, but after about 10 to 15 minutes the connection drops. When I go to the available wifi list, all the 5.0 GHz networks are missing and only the 2.4 GHz ones are offered. The only way I have found to get the phone to find the 5.0 GHz ones was forcing a reboot.

It is getting quite annoying. I have set the 'Show WLAN availabiliy' to Never in the WLAN settings but it still appears every now and then, probably when a network is nearby Im guessing.

3:23 - 3:45 "Encrytion Media Card Only" + BerryWeather + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card + Mem Compression Memory Clean and Encrytion (Device Memory Enabled) either one of those on will increase reboot time by atleast 2-3mins. When enabling Device Memory encryption Memory Clean is automatically turned on and can't be disabled. So in my testing reboot time was between 6-7mins. My current config setup is that last test. Since Password is on, I see no need for Device Memory encryption to be on. Without the password you can't gain access to device files. ZonaSnap , QuickLaunch, Blink all preloaded during each test. 8 Email Accounts, about 80 read emails, and 100+ sms, 41 apps anyone that is getting 1-2min reboot please post your settings.
How much are the fast reboot or reboot/kill software really needed on ICS?im finding that even on a large exclude list there are still apps that run, that i dont really need and eat up some of the interal memory.is there any other way other than rebooting all the time to get rid of them? Will rebooting drain more battery energy?

My iPhone 3g has been constantly crashing and I know they're kernel panics, but nothing will fix it. I recently removed the jailbreak and completely restored it. I've tried restoring it as a new phone and backing it up and I've even removed all my apps and cleared it. And it also keeps looping the start up screen and ocasionally enters the recovery mode screen. Will Apple will replace it?? even though I still pay the bill, it was given to me, I didn't purchase it, does that matter?

My iPhone 4 says no service all the time. Occasionally it will search or have a couple bars but all calls and texts still fail either way. My mobile internet still works and when this is on is usually shows that I have signal, but still can't make calls. Really starting to big me now, what can I do? I've reset all settings, reset network, turned airplane mode on and off, I've taken Sim out n put it back in, I've restored it. I've done everything all the online info says to do but it hasn't worked..

Is anyone else's iPhone only, not my iPod touch, is constantly asking for you to enter your Apple ID password besides when downloading an app? It's only been 2 or 3 days, I believe I have not changed any settings, at least purposefully, so I'm unsure why it started at of a sudden.

Why is my Iphone4 constantly asking for my itunes password? This started right after the new update. I do not have any downloads pending and have synced with my computer. This has stopped nothing. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Why has Apple been so quiet in answering/fixing these questions?
