Feb 19, 2010I received Omnia i910 yesterday and have spent a lot of time getting familiar with it. The phone is not intuitive compare to iphone but I am getting better.A few things I still can’t quite figure out.I am hoping someone can help me out here. It still have the official WM6.1 ROM
1. Is there a way I can disable the phone from using my carrier’s data plan? I only want to use data when connected to wifi.
2. How do I lock the screen? Can I assign a button to it?
3. Checking for Window update always fails on me, is it using EVDO only? Can I check update through wifi?

Apr 30, 2012I have a spare iPhone 4 which is currently not in use. It is out of contract and was bought at full price. I did the AT&T process and I got the email from AT&T saying that I can unlock it by doing the restore. Now when I do that I do not see the unlock screen and using tmobile shows SIM Failure. During the process I gave AT&T my phone number which I use on a blackberry and not the iPhone. Does it matter that when I restore the iPhone, the SIM inside has to be of my phone number that I gave AT&T? Or it should unlock no matter if I use any sim (even tmobile) during the restore?

Jun 8, 2012I am a T-mobile customer and I have a iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1 (9B176), firmware 04.12.01.
The iPhone was originally locked to ATT but in April 2012 I requested the official ATT unlock. The phone is now unlocked and works well with T-mobile.
If I upgrade from iOS5.1 to iOS5.1.1 will I loose the unlock? Does anyone has firsthand experience?

HTC Desire S :: Severe Lag After Official ICS Update?
Oct 5, 2012I recently did the ICS RUU update from the HTC Dev site, all good generally but phone now suffers from severe lag at times, mostly during intensive 3D games but often during typing (I use SlideIt). Same games, same SlideIt, same phone, performance fine on Android 3, but I'm thinking of downgrading unless there is a fix for this. Games often pause themselves when the going gets tough, and sometimes bomb out to the home page.
