May 21, 2012I upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 5.1.1 using itunes. After which I started using my phone as usual.
I was not able to upgrade or download apps from AppStore using wi-fi or 3G.
When I select any app for upgradation or downloading it starts, But It stops at 'waiting' stage , And never goes to 'loading' stage.

Mar 18, 2012I'm using iPhone 4S. Today i experience one specific problem. I wanted to download one free app on my iPhone and the download "started", and never finished. App was on my iPhone, but it wasn't downloaded, just App (witt download stuatus on) and under it was text "Waiting...". I tried several apps and two accounts and on Wi-Fi and on cellular network but always the same, only once i got message "You've already purchased this but it hasn't been downloaded. If you're having trouble downloading it, select Check fo Available Downloads from iTunes on your computer, then sync with your device.". When i tried to download the same app on my PC it downloaded normally (but i want to be able to download and install apps directly on my iPhone).

Cannot Update Apps Through AppStore On IPhone 5s
Aug 27, 2014I currently have 17 apps that need upgrading on my iPhone 5s. The little red number on the app store is showing me this. When i try to update the,, whether all of them at once or just individually, I get the window to type my apple Id password. After typing in my password, the rectangular update button on the right side just next to the app symbol changes into the usual circle, BUT then it stops and changes into the upgrade symbol again.
It seems impossible to upgrade my apps. I have the latest version of iOS, I tried to sign out, restart the phone, switch off restrictions.

I noticed that the .ipa files have different names.Downloading from iTunes: gives you the version number at the end of the application name.Downloading from iPhone: doesn't give you the version numberIs there any differences from this? Why does apple do it?I noticed this after having to restore and redownload all my apps at the request of the genius bar saying my battery life is ****** because of corrupt apps.On a side note: Does it matter if I do other things while downloading an app on my iphone?

Furthermore, mysteriously, I'm not allowed to install programs on my iPhone through my mbp (itunes) When I try to update the apps to my iphone that i downloaded on the computer it says unknown error. Today I downloaded the most recent iOS update and (4.1 i guess) and it still doesn't work. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what could i do about it?

Even with wifi on, whenever I select an app I wish to download on the top charts, all it results in is a loading screen which does not load.
