I'm having trouble accessing both the appstore and iTunes on my iPhone 4. Even with wifi on, whenever I select an app I wish to download on the top charts, all it results in is a loading screen which does not load. Similarly, I also cannot access Featured or other pages in the appstore (I can still update, which I already have for my apps). All there is is a loading screen. What are the possible problems to this and how can I solve it?
I changed my Apple ID a few days ago as required and answered the security questions. I am able to access my iCloud account, but cannot access the App Store from my iPhone 4S. I get a message that my password is incorrect.
Today i tryed to download some of my iTunes purchased songs and they all stuck on waiting. So, I went to Appstore to try updating my apps and games, same story there. Tryed to hardreboot my iPhone (lock+home) with no luck, tryed to log out from my acc on iTunes and Appstore, still nothing. No other downloads like podcasts etc are running. I dont want to try restore. Also tryed on wifi and 3g, both wont work :( iPhone4 iOS5.0.1
I have a question, is there any difference between downloading apps in iTunes or the appstore via iphone? I noticed that the .ipa files have different names.Downloading from iTunes: gives you the version number at the end of the application name.Downloading from iPhone: doesn't give you the version numberIs there any differences from this? Why does apple do it?I noticed this after having to restore and redownload all my apps at the request of the genius bar saying my battery life is ****** because of corrupt apps.On a side note: Does it matter if I do other things while downloading an app on my iphone?
I had an iphone 3gs, which broke. Now I got myself a windows phone and would like to transfer my contacts from itunes to my windows phone. how do i do this. and how can i access icloud from my pc?
My PC has broke (completely gone) and I bought a new one which is now up and running - how can i access my itunes? I have all my apps and itunes on my iphone4 (but this is out of date at 4.3.5 (8L1) ) so as i cannot access my old pc am i at risk of loosing my iphone data if i plug my iphone into my new pc and attempt to sync? How can I protect whats on my iphone in case such attempt deletes everything? I can't down load anything else to my iphone as it says its I need to update whcih I never got round to.
Ever since upgrading to 5.1 OS on my iPhone 4S whenever I try to update or download an app I get a message that says 'unknown error has occured. When I try to access my Apple ID I get a error of 'cannot connect to iTunes Store'.
I can't access the ringtones I bought on iTunes on my iPhone 4. When I sync it with my laptop, I see the ringtones in the Tones section but I can't do anything but look at them. How can I make it so the ringtones are in my phone and I can access them?
I have an itunes match account which is currently uploading. It says that I can access the music by switching the on button in settings. I have two accounts with apple and have switched over to one and I think the phone is set for the account that does not have itunes match. Any ideas on how to rectify this so I can access my icloud library via itunes match.
In order to access ITunes without getting the unable to connect message, I have to turn wi-fi off, wait until the app starts to load, than I can turn wi-fi back on to finish.
A pickpocket took my iPhone when I tried to photograph him, and slammed it in the asphalt The screen and display is broken and the touch-function won't work. But someone is still in there! However, when I plug the phone to my computer(not a Mac) iTunes recognizes there is a unit there, but says I need to type in the 4-digit passcode on the iPhone to get access to it in iTunes. But the touch-screen is still broken, so I can't type in anything. Any solution? Can I type in the code or apple-password somewhere else?
Since I updated to iOS4 my Appstore icon on my iPhone has vanished. Furthermore, mysteriously, I'm not allowed to install programs on my iPhone through my mbp (itunes) When I try to update the apps to my iphone that i downloaded on the computer it says unknown error. Today I downloaded the most recent iOS update and (4.1 i guess) and it still doesn't work. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what could i do about it?
I'm using iPhone 4S. Today i experience one specific problem. I wanted to download one free app on my iPhone and the download "started", and never finished. App was on my iPhone, but it wasn't downloaded, just App (witt download stuatus on) and under it was text "Waiting...". I tried several apps and two accounts and on Wi-Fi and on cellular network but always the same, only once i got message "You've already purchased this but it hasn't been downloaded. If you're having trouble downloading it, select Check fo Available Downloads from iTunes on your computer, then sync with your device.". When i tried to download the same app on my PC it downloaded normally (but i want to be able to download and install apps directly on my iPhone).
I get an annoying message when trying to get an app through App Store "at this time it is not possible to buy DMD and 13 other.............". Then I press OK and the normal interaction box appears requesting my password. How can I get rid of this?
When updating apps on my I-phone the AppleID that appears is incorrect, it shows an old AppleID that I used when I first set-up my account. What is the process to change the AppleID on the I-Phone?
