Mar 28, 2012my phone is acting strange. It is brand new and when i call someone or someone calls me it sounds like they are in the distance.i can barely hear them but they can hear me fine.

BB Storm2 9550/9520 :: Alarm Not Sounding
Aug 27, 2010I've this issues on previous Storm 2 devices. Surprisingly, due to some irresponsibility issues, my 3rd Storm 2 is an insurance replacement and of course the first thing I did was upgrade to a hybrid OS.So on a previous OS I had the alarm settings set perfectly like previous working alarms on my older Storm 2's, but the tone won't go off. However, the Alarm shows the pop-up saying dismiss/snooze. So I upgraded to a newer hybrid, and of course the same issue. I'm thinking this issue is only due to my device since the alarm has yet to work. But it is definitely a necessity.
And I can't return my device to Verizon and get it replaced anymore due to the insurance replacement....well at least that's what the rep said when I took it there due to activation issues.
BB Bold 9000 :: Wrong Alerts Sounding On OS 5.0
Jan 19, 2010I have been experiencing an interesting issue since I upgraded to the official 5.0 OS for my 9000. I have my profiles set to play tone A for emails and tone B for SMS messages. (Tone A and Tone B are just generic tones preloaded on the BB for the sake of the explanation - I doubt the particular tone I have set is causing an issue). this worked fine with my older OS, but since the upgrade I have been experiencing random times when the tones will actually revert to tone C (which sounds like BBPro_Sanguine for the record). This occurs without any predictable pattern as a replacement for either tone A or tone B. Sometimes I can go a day without this issue, but the next day I may notice this Tone C alerting me for hours until it reverts back to the proper tone (either A or B depending on if the alert is for an email or SMS), and I have absolutely nothing to do with it reverting to the proper tone. I have tried a battery pull, but the problem persisted.

Aug 20, 2015I got my (Verizon) G4 a little over 2 weeks ago. I've noticed that on about half my calls the phone speaker sounds loose/tinny/rattling when the person on the line is speaking.
I've tried every combination of enabling/disabling noise suppression, voice clarity and voice privacy, but nothing has worked.

Jan 19, 2010I noticed that there are times I do not get an audible when the phone is charging. Whether it's with the home charger the phone came with or a car charger (from Verizon), the majority of the time, I do not hear the alert when a message comes in. This has happened to me with all of my Tours (on my 3rd replacement). I do not have any custom ring tones/alerts. All the alerts I use are the ones that come with the phone. I don't have any 3rd party apps which would affect the tones. Does anyone else experience or hear of this? If so is there a fix to this?

Feb 10, 2010I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.

May 15, 2012I can make calls but I cant receive all of the calls. What happends is the phone rings then you swipe the screen to receive then there is nothing but the call has been answered, sometimes(not all) I can put on the microphone to fix this but this does nt work all the time.

Apr 22, 2012When I connect my Iphone 3gs to Wifi network and after a few minutes get out of the range of the wifi, then the 3g should work. But in my case when I turn on wifi and connect to a network and after a few minutes turn off wifi, then its not able to connect to the 3g network(Airtel-India) which is availabe and i have tested this on my android phones too, it work perfectly fine there.

As I need to visit India and was a gift for someone I did not open the box and unlocked outside (As operator will not unlock untill 3 monthes) by just giving IMEI no.After unboxing, when we tried to use an Indian operator sim card , it did not work with the message showing please use authorised sim card. Afterwards,I tried my other O2 UK sim card which worked perfectly with configuring IPhone as it was just using first time. Now, when I am trying my Orange sim card which came with phone or any other sim card, it does not working.Shold I swith to 5.1.1 or?Does it properly unlock?

May 20, 2012My iPhone is not playing sounds when I recieve email, iMessage, Whatssapp, watch videos or play music. It used to play the sounds until yestarday.If i put my headphones on I can hear everything but not without it. With no headphones it only play call sounds, voxer, and even I can talk. I checked the set up and it is correct.
When I press the volume button up or down it only shows the speaker image with the word "ringer" but no up and down volume bar under it. If i wear the headphones and I press the volume button the up and down volume bar shows up and work perfectly.

Jun 6, 2014My iphone 3gs isnt working properly, whenever i try to start it up it gets to the apple symbol then wait there for about ten mins then it goes to a diplay where there is no real backlight and it is just a grey screen. after sitting there for a bit (5 mins)it will turn off then trun back on and repeat the prossess ove and over for ages, i left it and it was doing it for about 3 and a half hours, at whick point it runs out on battery. if i connect it to the wall socket then i think that it will not stop ever..i cant even do a backup and move my data to another phone.
