IPhone :: All Of A Sudden 3g Bluetooth Will Not Work In Vehicle?
Jun 29, 2012
All of a sudden my 3g bluetooth will not work in my vehicle. I resynced both and they are showing synced but cannot use bluetooth in veh. On Phone only have "audio" showing now on keypad, not "source".
Can you pair through bluetooth my phone to more than one vehicle? My new Honda CRV receives text messages. However it says my Iphone 4 CDMA is not compatible. Is there software I need to download to my phone?
My iphone establishes a bluetooth connection to both of my cars (Kia and Toyota). It used to work fine. Now, I can search contacts, dial and hang up, but my phone won't go hands-free on either one (and on my phone I only have a "speaker" option, not an "audio source" option during a call). I can also start songs on it from my car as an auxiliary device, but it won't play through the car speakers. My wife's phone works fine in hands-free mode with both cars, so I know it's not the cars that are the problem. My phone is up-to-date with system downloads.
how to play songs using bluetooth and pandora? Bluetooth is already connected to my vehicle & the option in pandora bluetooth is also enabled. But when i turn my vehicle on, its plays songs from my "music folder" instead of playing songs from pandora...
I have paired my torch to my new Buick enclave and everything was good for about a week. Starting last week I have not been able to connect to my vehicle. My phone shows the connection failed.
I have a 2015 Chevy Trax and my Bluetooth connection to my S6 is fine, other than the fact that when I press my steering wheel button to call, it says something along the lines of "This device is not compatible with that" ...
Also, when I plug in to my USB port, it only comes up with Picture/Video multimedia. No music. Which is slightly frustrating as Bluetooth streaming obviously takes battery life away...
Droid Turbo (Android Version 5.1) - WIFI works fine at home and seems to work other places. I have been using it for months at work. Recently I cannot connect. Other people can still connect. I had the connection saved...but even tried deleting it and researching, but it won't locate the server.
When I plug my I-Phone 3 into my vehicle's USB port i have to turn the volume way up to hear music. I usually listen to an FM station at volume level 12. When using the Iphone I can't hear anything until a level above 30.
Does anyone know if there's a way to get my new phone to work with my bluetooth? My old iphone 3 was great with it, this one wont even find my bluetooth when it searches.
My friend was playing Zombieville and he wanted to play with me via Bluetooth. When I wanted to use it, it was stuck searching and noticed that his identified my other friends iPod. I was wondering if it is a hardware problem with my iPhone and if I should just send it to Apple to fix it?
My Blackberry bold and iPhone 4 were absolutely fine with 3 different cars. I have just upgraded to the iPhone 4s and now the phone connects to the bluetooth but doesnt work properly. It rings and the screen shows that there is a call there, it even turns the radio off but the voice is coming out of the hadset. In previous versions i think you could select Audio Device 'in call' but you cant on the 4s. I have tried it in an Audi, a new Volvo and a BMW so i think that the car kits should be fairly up to date.
When I turned it on seems that is trying to work and could search devices for ever, but never stops and when I get out of the Bluetooth menu the icon disappears.
I had a Bluetooth earpiece (Plantronics 925) and was in a voice call with my wife on her iPhone 4. When I initiated FaceTime and it transitioned over, it dropped the Bluetooth audio and reverted to the onboard speaker and microphone. With FaceTime's simplified GUI, there's nothing to switch the audio back to the headset, and tapping my button on my earpiece did nothing.
FYI, I also tried this with wired headphones and the audio continued on the headphones properly (didn't go into speakerphone mode).Looks like Apple doesn't really like, care, or know Bluetooth much or enough to implement AVRCP for controlling playback, or using Bluetooth audio for non telephony purposes.
I have a iphone4 and recently bought a car that has bluetooth. When I tell it a name to call it doesn't work. If I tell it the phone # it works.how can I fix it?
My iPhone 3GS used to work well with a Motorola H700 headset and the bluetooh in my Lexus. All of a sudden, I could connect with the H700 or the Lexus and place a call but there was no audio received or sent even though the screen in the Lexus said it was being sent/received. I have checked all settings; I have removed and re-setup the iPhone on both devices and to no avail. Is there something I am missing? I know the bluetooth system in the Lexus works because i can connect my Morotola SLVR to it and get audio both ways.
how to fix bluetooth in iPhone 4s after update to IOS 7.1.2? It was working perfectly before the update and now my mac or speakers don't see the phone and vice versa. I've restarted the phone and other devices with no result. Also I've noticed that some phone calls freeze my iPhone and it's not possible to even accept a phone call..!
I just updated latest OS on my iPhone 3GS and now WiFi struggles to work correctly unless I disable Bluetooth. Even when I am near the WiFi access point. Never had issue before. Never had problems with signal strength or locking on to know WiFi access points before. Only just have issue after the last OS update.
