Two days ago, I have a new iphone 4S. After I installed the OS and start the iphone, I found a strange screen says "!9D/JC" that blocks the iphone and I can not access the iphone until click many times on the "Desmiss" button at the botom of the screen.

Does anyone else get a strange line at the top of their screen when they are rebooting and on the screen which shows the Apple logo? It's not causing any problems I don't think but I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting it

My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. Its not rooted. But I am running Nova Launcher as my default launcher. It causes my lock screen to kinda glitch out. The letters and numbers on the pin lock screen are turning into solid white blocks. I know if I restart my phone, it fixes it. But I'm just curious as to what causes it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately, one of the first things i noticed upon unpacking it is that the screen has some strange gold colored lines in the upper part of the screen.The lines are most visible when bright light is shone onto the screen e.g. a flashlight, lamp or out in the sun. They are most visible on dark colors or when the screen is turned off.It looks as though the lines could be some sort of seem lines between two display pieces that are joined or bonded together. Does Samsung patch the screens together from multiple pieces?I am not really happy about these particular lines that are present in the screen.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAbout 3-4 weeks ago...my screen starting acting strange. When I would hover a button (not clicking it...but to make it blue)...other buttons would become blue as well. Or the button I was hovering wouldn't turn blue and another would. When I would actually click the button...say for messages...the browser would start instead. Also...sometimes I would have the browser or gmail app open and after I clicked the BB button to bring up the menu...it would be completely frozen. It's like this periodically...but always occurs after a call...and the phone won't work for a good 1-2 minutes. This became worse and worse. So I finally did a complete reinstall of BB 5.0.0.328. Things were better for a week or so...and then it went downhill again. I haven't dropped my phone or added any new applications in months.
I have Verizon warranty...but if I go in there I have a feeling they are going to tell me that its a software issue and not hardware. I really don't know what it is...I just want the phone to work again.
Some reason a monster energy wallpaper from zedge somehow turned into a splash screen that won't go back to stock even after Odin flash stock multiple times .It was only a wallpaper at that point now after Samsung boot then the monster energy logo then the t-mobile boot screen.Everything works fine just can't get rid of it even after multiple Odin flash to stock and factory resets

Very often my Iphone 4s (with full coverage and 3G signal correctly dispalyed) loose connection to the internet, then it continues to look for 3g connection for a long time with no joy (so it never switches automatically to Edge...) and by then it can't do calls (if I try calls ends immediately...) neither sends sms. It stays blocked, restarting sometimes doesn't work, the only solution I've found so far is to witch off/on the 3G function. After that off/on, iPhone starts immediately to work fine again, in 3G modality too. I'm not 100% sure, but I noticed this problem only after updgraded to iOS 5.1. Any way to figure it out without disabling/enabling 3G all the time?

There has been a lot written about "choppy playback" of iPhone video once it's trasferred to another device.It seems to me that the problem is in the frame rate used in the original video. In Quicktime, I'm seeing an actual frame rate on playback of something like 18 FPS, when the file is stamped with 30 FPS. When will this issue be resolved by Apple?And for now, what is the best work around? I've already begun experimenting with different settings during export from Quicktime.Choosing iPhone as a setting creates a .m4v file, but the image size is greatly reduced, and the conversion is very time consuming.Howeber the frame rate issue seems to be resolved--no more choppy playback and the new file is playing back at a true 30 FPS (or maybe it's 29.97 but that's another topic).
It's been said before but I'll say it again: it's beyond belief that Apple can release hardware and software Even for the most novice user, this is totally unacceptable.

When any icon is pressed - whether it's an icon for an app, the battery symbol, the slide unlock, etc... a border appears around the icon when pressed and icons will not open unless double tapped. View 7 Replies View RelatedOK, looked at every app , every notification, every sound on the device and cannot find this. My phone makes two strange sounds. Sometimes once a day, sometimes twice in 5 minutes. No rhyme or reason. And after the sound, I check everything from messages, to voicemail, to app updates, to Ebay to - you name it, and nothing new.One sound sounds like :di-di di dih-goosz goosz goosz with the "goosz's" getting lower in volume and sounding gritty.
The other sound is similar, but different.Any ideas at all? I know if I go to the Apple store it will never happen when I am there.
My iPhone keeps making the strangest sound... it's completely random, it's not tied to any notification that I can find (and I've been searching...). It is similar to the "Calypso" tone that's built in, but deeper, minor, a bit resonant, more "crap, something's wrong with your phone" sounding. It's an ascending minor third, but not exactly. It happens a few times a day. No pattern to the times. For example, today, it happened around 11:55AM, then around 1:10PM. No emails or texts or notifications happened at those times. Like I said, I've combed through all the notifications and sounds and apps and still haven't found it. I have no way to record it because it happens so randomly.

Since i last listened to my iphone via headphones I now have an icon next to my ipod controls which is a rectangle with an upwards arrow at the bottom of it. View 2 Replies View RelatedUpgraded phone from Samsung Galaxy S4 to Samsung Galaxy S6. Incoming TXT continues to work normally, but I cannot send an outbound TXT while VPN is connected. If I disconnect from VPN, TXT works fine again.
Same carrier - Verizon. Same messaging app - Samsung Messaging. Same VPN provider and account. Using OpenVPN on both. Also tried the VPN Client that PIA provided -- same results.
Same results whether I am using WiFi, or if I disable WiFi and only use Verizon normal wireless. Wife's GS5 using same OpenVPN and same SMS app and same network works perfectly.
I contacted my VPN provider, PrivateInternetAccess, who promptly blamed my Wireless Provider, Verizon. They stated that I had to tell Verizon to provide a "NAT unrestricted IP address".
On my lock screen and on some of the other screens on my phone instead of text I am getting large blocks covering the text. This goes away for a short period after restarting but always comes back after a few hours.
