Since today a new logo appeared at the top of my screen and i'm wondering what it means.It contains a 1 with a yellow browser logo to the right of it.Can anyone tell me what it means?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a new bb user, which has patiently waited 3weeks to get my new 9700.- which arrived today BUT, when I turn it on the progress line goes all the way to the right, and then nothing else happens. It's just a black screen with the bb logo on it. Tried to downgrade the OP, but still the same thing happens.
Called the web-shop I bought it from, and they say I have to return it, and wait for them to have a look at it..usually 2-4 weeks.Is there anything I can do?
i had a bold 9700 about 3 weeks been working fine then all of a sudden last got this strange problem, when i click on the trackpad to any menu it works fine, clicking reading texts fine, when i click on the browser it comes up fine, then when i go bookmark then click on site its fine, but once on site when scrolling and want to click on something nothing happens ??? its not skipped a beat in 3 weeks, then this last night not changed any settings at all or installed anything but it only does this when on web pages and try to click on something or item tried on numerous sites. any ideas ??? doing any thing else button works fine i,m running lastest os thanks

They used to just be plain envelopes icons. Has something happened that I should be aware of or is something saved? What is this new icon alerting me to? or is this just a creative upgrade?(I auto-upgraded my BB Desktop Software to 6.0.0.40 recently, is this related?)I have always had a 'mini globe' icon at the bottom of my folder for my Gmail account. This has stayed the same. Does it perhaps represent a pop/hotmail account as opposed to a gmail-forwarded account?

I've already replaced the faceplate on the front of the phone with a OEM one. Is it possible for me to disable the t-mobile logo thats always floating above the home screen? Also can I remove the applications that they pre-installed on the phone? (does updating the OS do this??)Basically everything but changing the bootup logo as I believe that involves debranding..

I renew my contract and get the cell with my points, the only problem is i'm with orange and the phone is like that with Orange on the bottom. they just ruined everything... when i look t-mobile in US it's so much better than this orange logo... I have downloaded Opera Mini to be used as a browser. I find that the Blackberry Browser does not allow viewing on many of the sites I wish to open. I have downloaded Opera Mini, but how do i now move the browser's logo to my home screen?

Does anyone else get a strange line at the top of their screen when they are rebooting and on the screen which shows the Apple logo? It's not causing any problems I don't think but I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting it
View 17 Replies View RelatedMy Bold is stuck on the boot screen (at about 75%). I've tried many battery pulls with and without the SIM and it keeps doing the same thing. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

I know that many people each have their own preferences but it seemed like for the most part people liked the bigger screen that the 9000 offered.Why did RIM reduce the screen size for the 9700? View 2 Replies View RelatedOk so a while ago my blackberry ended up accidentally underneath the big box part of a laptop charger thing don't know what that part is called but yea, it was under that for less then a minute. The screen went funny and had 2 lines randomly down 1 side. I did a battery pull etc but everytime I did it progressivly got worse. In the space of around a week to 2 weeks it went from 2 lines to multiple lines to eventually a pure White screen. Is this fixable? Do I just need to replace the screen?

View 2 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately, one of the first things i noticed upon unpacking it is that the screen has some strange gold colored lines in the upper part of the screen.The lines are most visible when bright light is shone onto the screen e.g. a flashlight, lamp or out in the sun. They are most visible on dark colors or when the screen is turned off.It looks as though the lines could be some sort of seem lines between two display pieces that are joined or bonded together. Does Samsung patch the screens together from multiple pieces?I am not really happy about these particular lines that are present in the screen.
