Aug 13, 2012in the last couple of weeks has randomly started 'shaking' between the 5 screens, and randomly opening shortcuts. Initially I thought I might have leaned on the screen when it was in my pocket (although I was sure it had screen-locked) and it was processing the outstanding signals, but it is now doing it when I haven't touched the screen or had anything else pressing on it. Turning it off and on again helps for a bit, but it starts again after a while. Is this something a software update would resolve (though I'm not having any success with the SUS either.

I have the following settings: Marathon mode, ant + for HR, screen timeout enabled and i have the latest update. Does temperature have an impact? Jun 23, 2014I Have iPhone 5s and for the past month when I play my music while running it keeps shuffling. I have the shake to shuffle off and in my playlist the shuffle is off when I start running but after the first song plays it shuffles and on the playlist current song playing has shuffle on so again I turn it off and after one song it is back with shuffle on. It does it only when I run if I'm walking the shuffle does not turn itself back on. since I have had this phone since last year when the 5s came out and have never had this problem during running until the last month.

Jun 8, 2012It was in a sof case and surrounded by a hard case. The only areas exposed to liquid was the charger and speakers. At first, the display came on and the unit charged sporadically. Now, it will not power on at all. Even when it did power on the screen was VERY dim. About 1 inch fell into the shake (strawberry, for the curious) and I did not rinse it off - just wiped and cleaned with QTip and toothpick. Any help out there? Should I open the phone and try to clean it out? It is over 2 years old and no warranty or contract.

Jan 4, 2014my screen froze on my 1020. None of the "screen" buttons would work but the physical side buttons would. I rebooted a couple of times (depressing the power and volume down). It worked once but then froze up again. Taking out the sim and putting it back in seems to reboot the phone, which works, sometimes, but freezes up again as soon as the screen lock is activated.

My phone's screen keeps blacking out and to restore the front screen applications I have to keep switching it off then back on again. I've been to the nokia dealer with this issue but they sent me back home and suggested I keep trying the update. I've been trying this but the nokia software installer in my computer suggests it cannot find my mobile when connected through the usb cable (even though my pc detects the connection). Oct 30, 2015So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.
IPhone :: 2G (8GB) Phone With Blank Black Screen
Jan 10, 2010Woke up this morning and hit the home button on my iPhone, only to have the screen flicker white and then turn off. I tried pressing the home and sleep buttons, with no luck. In the fist five minutes, the screen flickered white 3 times but then proceeded to a dark screen and has not turned on since.
I have attempted soft and hard resets like some other users, but the screen is still blank. I even put the phone into recovery mode and attempted to get it running with iTunes. I re-installed 3.1.2, but no luck. The sleep button is pretty iffy, and requires you to hold it down in certain positions to get it to work, so it has been hit or miss to get the phone into recovery mode.
Two weeks ago, I reformatted the phone, updated to 3.1.2, jailbroke and unlocked the phone with blackra1n, with no problems in functionality.I also tried re-installing from a backup. I get vibration notifications in conjunctions with emails (since I see them on my laptop at the same time as the vibration), so I know there is some functionality, I just can't see anything. There is no passcode on the phone either.
My guess is the LCD went out since resets and recoveries have not been able to bring anything back on the screen. I'm about to order a new screen, I just wanted to confirm that I'm taking the proper next step.

Mar 13, 2012I just did the software updgrade, and ever since when I answer a phone call OR when I make a call, the normal "menu" screen pops up, but immediately goes to the keypad. Sometimes I don't even see the "menu". I've tried checking settings, but it doesn't have an option to change it at all.
