I listen to lecture recordings at work, and I've been converting them to iTunes U media type so that they show up with the other lectures. Lately, though, when I do this, the files simply vanish. I think they're still there, taking up space, but they aren't showing up in Music or in iTunes U.

Every once in a while I will look at my screen and there will be a vacant icon spot where I know there was an icon prior.
I guess its possible I am unwittingly swiping them away to be removed but really not likely.
Had my Berry 9700 just over a week. Its great. One problem: My BlackBerry App World Icon keeps going missing. All Icons in all folders are set to show. Powered off and battery pull don't bring it back. Downloaded it twice so far and its gone missing twice.

Each time this happens, I re-favorite it. There doesn't seem to be any ryme or reason for this to happen. I've tried the battery pull a few times. I've done the power down/back up. But the Text Messages icon is the only icon that vanishes from Favorites.

After emailing the voice recorder (m4a) file to my desktop, in iTunes I click on "add file to library" and choose the file. Nothing happens, and the file does not show up in iTunes.
I need to do this in order to get these files onto my iPod.

The Internet says that m4a files can be imported into iTunes. What am I missing?
I am trying to sync itunes with the Motoactv using the USB cord. As of right now I can see all of the prepopulated itunes playlists in MotoCast (ie 90s music, recently added) but none of the playlists I have created myself nor does it display the full population of music I currently have in itunes (306 in MotoCast versus 910 in itunes). When I go to sync it says the sync was successful but that 0 files were transferred. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or a different want to get this to sync. I am currently running Window XP, MotoCast Version 1.7.0151.0, and ITunes Version 10.5.3.3.

After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. i have a customer who has a iphone and needs to update to ios 5.1 for a corporate app to work. he does not have personnal machine at home to install itunes on, and the company will not allow itunes to be installed on any of their systems (you cant even run the installer as its blocked).i have my own machine that i connect to their guest wifi but when i try to download the ios 5.1 update, it says 36 hours remaining (i think they are blocking the traffic).is there a way to download the firmware while i have my machine at home and then install when i am back with the user (i only see the user for about 1 hour a week)
