When I send message to another specific imessager user, it goes through as sms. I can send to other imessage users no problem. And the really strange thing is, once this user replies (or starts the conversation) it becomes imessage.

I'm curious, is there a way to schedule a text message to be sent at a specific time later in the day through the Google Hangouts app?
For example, it's 6:15 a.m. right now, and I would like to text someone after they wake up today, but I may be sleeping by the time they get up, so I'm wondering if there is a way to schedule my phone to send out a text message 2 hours from now at 8:15 a.m.?
It seems as though there are several third-party apps that claim to do this - and I may end up trying one of those apps - but I would prefer to not install any other Texting apps on my phone, if possible, so I would like to find out if there is a way to do through through Google Hangouts.
I have T-Mobile service on a Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.4 and I use the version of Hangouts that is automatically installed on my phone for text messaging. I don't have any other Text Message apps installed on my phone.
By the way, if there is no way to do this through Google Hangouts, any 3rd-party app that will do this that they have used?
I'm looking for a way to check and see if a specific iPhone user is receiving my imessages or if there phone is not working properly. I cannot get in touch with an out of state friend for several days and the only number I have is to their cell (iphone).Â

iMessage is not working to my husband number. We both have the iPhone 4 on orange network but when I select to send him a message to his phone number it only ever sends as a text message, not iMessage. I can send as iMessage if I select his email address instead or if I respond to a message from him.

I have a huge problem with texting people who switched phones from iPhone to ie Samsung or Sony and no longer have iMessage option. My iPhone still recognizes these contacts as iPhone(iMessage). Â Everytime I want to text them I have to switch the iMessage option off (or really quickly press the button 'send as an sms'. , but thats no fun or working well whatsoever). I'm having two issues with texting on my Blackberry Bold 9700.
1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.
We have a BES BB user (9630 v5.0) who is not able to file a messages. When the user opens a message and then does option on that message, the "File" option is listed as an option.Also, when the user goes and views folders, no folders are available...Usually the outlook folder structure is synced downUser is reconciling just fine and everything in BB manager looks good. Carrier sent user a new phone thinking it was the device but user is having same issue with new BB as well. Thus, why they have contacted the BES Admins.

This is only happening when I'm texting someone using iMessage - it'll say that they sent their message as a text message, but then a few minutes later I'll get their exact same message again, but this time as an iMessage - it's happened with multiple people - it says I'm still in iMessage "mode" but they're in text message mode and then i'll often receive the same message again - this has only started happening recently, and it doesn't happen every time but it happens often and I'm not sure why- has this happened to anyone else?

I'm thinking of abandoning the I-Phone altogether because of two annoyances that get only worse, not better, with time. But if any newer I-Phone (I currently have the 3GS) has removed these annoyances, I will upgrade.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI woke up this morning and i found out that mail for exchange is unable to get new emails because my user storage is full. I only have about 15 emails in my inbox and yet it is unable to check for new emails and it tells me synchronization failed. So I checked the phone memory and i only have 116.5 MB for installable applications and 18 GB for phone memory. i dont understand why i only have 116.5 Mb for my installable applications i only have about 60 applications and each is only a couply of KBs from the extras repo and from ovi and nothing from extras testing or devel. i have a couple of TV shows and movies. so what could be causing this and is there a way to exactly find out why i am low on memory and fix it. i am able to get email for my gmail account and aol account.
