With all the new and great features in 4.0, i can not possibly understand why they did not improve the notification features!? I could have sworn with OS 4 there was supposed to be in app sms.

My iphone removed my contacts and replaces them with one of my children's contacts. this is the second time this has happened in a year

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo when I got my phone I didn't have any problems with it. When I locked it there was a satisfying "lock" sound. Also the camera made a satisfying "camera shutter" noise. Now for some reason when I lock/unlock my phone all I get is a tiny barely audible click. The same with the camera and when I'm tapping on icons, the click noise is still faint its not even worth having it.

I removed the battery to reset it and now a red LCD light is flashing and the phone starts to turn on you know when you first turn it on and it says blackberry then the line starts to load it just keeps doing that! I can't go to my network provider at the moment because im in Australia!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to fing out what happened to the ability to select multiple contact to send or forward a text message or email by ticking the "head" icon, which brings up your phone contacts list and then checking off the contacts you want to send to. All I can see is you have to select them one at a time using auto complete in the "to" field. Is there a way to select them like we used to? If not, then when can I expect Moto to send an update that fixes this? This was an option on all previous Adroid releases, so why is not there now? I know I can create groups, but that is just ignorant, I dont send to the same people every time, so groups are a waste of time.

just did the latest upgrade on my x10 thru PC companion...it was done properly. On my old unlocked (T-Mobile) iPhone, Push notifications worked, but after upgrading to an iPhone 3G, I don't receive Push notifications.
Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
I keep getting bogus notifications on my iPhone.At first it was with IM+ (the app for messenger, skype, etc.) that kept notifying me of incoming messages from people I don't know (mostly in languages I don't understand) and, obviously, when I ran IM+ I didn't see those messages (since they didn't really go to my accounts). Then, I installed the new Facebook app and set it to notify my of new messages in my inbox and that too started notifying me about comments, wall writings, friend requests, etc. that people I don't know "made on my facebook page", and again, when I ran the app (or went to the page on my PC) none of that was actually there - no comments, not friends requests, etc.

Sometimes my push notifications and text messages will be delayed by a few minutes. I'm on the blackrain jb.
