and in NSU v2.5.2 i got (no software available for your device - Please not that your mobile service provider, operator or carrier may not have approved the latest nokia device firmware available........)And on FOTA after downloading and restarting i got (This update is not compatible with your device)

May 20, 2010I'm having a problem when trying to update my Nokia 5230 using the Nokia Suite.Please note; my phone is plugged in, there is an update for my phone as the last time it was updated was when it made manufactured (nov 09). The USB mode is on 'PC suite'. I have downloaded all the latest versions of the Nokia Suite.
When I click 'Update Phone Software", it takes me to the updater. When it comes to the 'Searching for a connected device', it hands for about 1-2 minutes, then says "Unable to find device".

Jun 7, 2010I've being trying to update my device software but it's impossible, not even downloading the archive from the web.
Everytime I plug in my phone and open the blackberry manager to do whaterver it gives me the message that I haven't installed the Blackberry Device Manager . I updated my desktop manager to version 5.0, and I tried to update my device software and it says that I don't have any updates, after that I have deleted the files device.xml and vendor.xml but again when I plugged in my phone it comes the message that the Blackberry Device Manager is not installed. I've uninstalled the desktop manager and it let me use once but again no update for my phone software and then again the same message that i haven't installed the Blackberry Device Manager
My carrier company here in Ecuador wont help me cause I bought the phone in the USA, but anyways I have friends that have the same problem as and they have bought in Ecuador to Movistar (my carrier) the same phone and the update to 5.0 doesn't work.

Jul 3, 2010I am a new user of BlackBerry so I start to use Curve 8520 version 4.6.1.314 Platform 4.2.0.135 with PIN 22519E9E. I am located in the Philippines and my Service provider is Globe Telecom. My problem is I am unable to update my Device to 5.0. I tried first using the desktop software and I am getting a message That my device has the latest software. Then I tried using the web update and This time I am getting a connection error message and finally I also tried the other Option which is downloading the device sofware supported by my service provider I saw three options and downloaded them all then installed in my PC (two v4.6 and one 5.0). Then I launch my desktop sofware but this time I got an option to update my device 4.6. What I want is to upgrade it to 5.0 so I tried again via webupdate but I am also getting The option to update it to 4.6. I tried to delete the two 4.6 version folder in share folder Research in Motion folder locate in Program file folder/Common file/research in motion/shared Then tried to update again via deskstop and web but I got the same result on my first attempt To update my device..I really need someone to help me with my problem. I am unable to Install facebook 1.6 and unable to sign in to YNM applicatio that is why I wanted To update my device to 5.0.

Apr 12, 2010I read allot of posts and tried allot of solutions but untill now none worked for me
i use windows 7 ultimatie 64 bit, installed the ovi suite and the nokia software updater.
then why i try to update the device software it says the phone is not connected, when i then reconnect the phone i can press continue but immediatly after that its says its not connected again. even though the ovi store has it still connected and i can browse the phone from the pc aswell.. I tried different usb ports, i tried it on an win xp machine ( with same results ).
Currently my n97 had software version 1.2 i believe, when i use the phone itself to update it says no updates available.. i dont know whats wrong, because other then the update everything works normal.

I'm not alone a number of other users with same product code reporting this issue with same product code:Lumia 800 Update Thread (Bottom of page 14 and 15)It's a non-carrier varient (Sim free) so no operator to approve update.Nokias own website lists the update as available for this product code in the UK:Nokia Lumia Update Page But still unable to download for a long while now - This update has been out ages. No luck with e-mail support - They keep saying it depends on country/product code (Which I checked on the website!) and send stock replies which is frustrating. Please can we get a proper response on this or someone to check it out/diagnose the problem.I'm stuck on 1600.2475.7720.11414 and Nokias website says 1600.2487.8107.12070 should be available for my device. "The device does not have enough space for your selections. Select fewer applications." Desktop Manager shows that I've 0KB amount of space on my phone. I am currently using BlackBerry Desktop Manager v5.0.1.37. The free space on my phone s 29084828 Bytes. My BlackBerry's version is 5.0.0.592. I cannot update or delete software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. I've also noticed a similar thread that has the same problem as me but there wasn't any solutions provided. Anybody? Mar 20, 2012I have an iPhone 4s on iOS 5.1. Its bluetooth seems to be working 'coz it is able to pair with my Mac, AND nothing else. It is unable to discover nor pair with my iPad or any other gadgets in the house.
BTW, my hubby has exact iPhone model and OS, but its bluetooth is working fine and uses it regularly with car's FM transmitter. He can't see my phone either, and I cant detect his.

Feb 20, 2010Ok, I've got an early model 3GS serial from week 23.I originally jailbroke it using purplera1n on its original 3.0 firmware. I didn't bother doing any of the updates since then, since everything was working pretty well. As a precaution I have stored my hashed keys with Cydia.
Now there are starting to be newer apps that require firmware 3.1 so I figured I would update.I've read through a few tutorials and it isn't 100% clear what update path I should go. I have tried Pwnage tool on my Macbook and it doesn't seem to detect my phone to put into DFU mode. I have a few questions hopefully someone here can answer:
1) Should I even be using Pwnage tool? Or should I be using blackra1n? Does it matter?
2) With Pwnage tool, when it asks if my phone has been 'pwned' before, should I answer yes or no? When I answer no, it doesn't detect my phone. When I answer yes, it tells me to put the phone into DFU mode myself and reestore using iTunes. Is this safe to do?

Jun 25, 2012I did a backup of my iphone 4 ios 4.3.1 before I started upgrading it to ios 5.1. Upgrade went well until i got to the part of restoring from a backup. For some reason, it asked me for a password which i disable on the iphone before i started upgrading. I tried putting the old password which i disabled but no luck. I tried my laptop password also but no luck. Does anyone know which password are they actually asking?
