It's driving me up the wall! I can't install any Apps on my iPhone until I fill in at least 3 security questions and a back-up e-mail. There's just one problem... when I click on the third 'question' box, to choose a question. It highlights blue but doesn't do anything. So I can't finish filling it in! What do I do?

On my iphone4, I cant download any more apps until I have updated my security info. They automatically take me to a security info page, there are 5 blank questions i must fill in e.g. whatwas first job I had. but every time I select answer it refreshes the page, so i can never finish updating the security info and thus i cannot download/install any more apps on my iphone.It is very weird because I already have ONE security question on my apple ID, so why do I need more?And the fact it refreshes etc worries me that im being hacked/a virus of some sort I cannot change my security info anywhere except on my phone it seems?I tried on my apple ID, but its different, as thats not the same format, it is only one Q, whereas i was asked 5 on my iphone?

I set the trace a pattern security system for the phone. Later when trying to do two things at once I got the pattern wrong five times. I then compounded the problem by getting the succeeding attempts wrong as well until the phone locked me out. Like many others it seems I set-up my gmail account without recording the pertinant details, gmail address and password, these are the requirements to unlock the phone. The official X10 user guide is no help on the subject. I have also been to various websites looking for advice and have found no information at all, apart from don't do it of course! I went to a phone shop and their advice was to use PC Companion to reset the phone but of course I need to mount the phone in order that the software sees it. I am resigned to resetting the phone as the solution as I am backed up but even if I reset I will still need the gmail info to enable all of the Google features. I know it is the result of being a dufus but it seems like a bit of a terminal cul-de-sac at the moment.

Everything on there is correct and has not changed in over a year.Everytime I submit it a message says "security code invalid" but it is in fact correct... I just got my G4 recently and I am very new to Android. So when I was surfing the web using Chrome, I bump into a website that show popup ads and only "Ok" option available, so I just keep clicking "ok" and "ok", sometime my phone vibrate and there's few times it also download some file and went to my 'Downloads' apps, but I didn't open/click the files, will my phone got virus or any prob?
Btw, I immediately download file explorer app and delete the files inside the 'Downloads' folder, but the file still exist in 'Downloads' app.
Every day at 5pm, I get an annoying pop up message. The message only says "Featured App" across the top. It appears to be a solicitation for various apps. Everything from budgeting to making messages invisible for a "secret affair." Its neither a text message nor an email, just pops up on the phone. The only option is the download link at the bottom which takes me to App World. If I hit the end button several times, it will sometimes go away.
It appears to have started when I upgraded App World a couple of weeks back.
I downloaded a couple of apps, deleted a few afterwards, now i get an ad pop up after i hang up from calls. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Do I need to delete all the new apps in order to get rid of this annoying pop up ad? (pop up ad: the screen goes white and the ad is very little in the upper left hand corner.)

With my first Android phone, I could press once on a Call Forwarding quickdial shortcut, and the phone would immediately dial, forward calls, and disconnect. (The quickdial shortcut calls (*722065551212) ). KitKat saw fit to add a popup confirmation window:
Call forwarding (*72)
All incoming calls will be forwarded to 206-555-1212
Dial *73 to turn off Call Forwarding
(Cancel) (Forward calls)
I disliked this popup as soon as I saw it. Sadly, when I run call forwarding under Lollipop, the popup appears, I press (Forward calls), the popup closes, then appears again. After the second press of (Forward calls), the call is completed and calls are forwarded.
Is there a setting to return to the pre-KitKat behavior? Or even the KitKat behavior, with a single popup?
I looked at the app store, and tried several free call forwarding apps. They all send the same signal to the phone's dialer, resulting in the same double popup.
I am using Nexus 5. i upgraded it to Lollipop but because of certain reasons i did not like it much so downgraded Lollipop to Kitkat 4.4.4. I have successfully done it. But the problem now i am facing is that "i dont get notifications for Messages, Facebook etc".
View 1 Replies View Related I use my phone now. The recent apps/multiwindow thing keeps popping up, no matter what I'm doing and even if I quit all my running apps. Despite restarts and complete phone drainage, this problem keeps occuring for the past month or 2.
I use my phone to play games a lot (like several hours a day), have active Line group conversations, use Facebook app frequently w/its Messenger app, and I also use Dodol Launcher for my phone too. I really don't want to go to the factory default method of fixing things, especially since it's a major pain to reinstall all the games that I have installed. However, a quick search through google doesn't seem to show any results about this continuous recent apps popup bug.
The stock SMS program is so devoid of features like being able to set font size, text notification vibrate quality, and the look of the interface that it's really useless to me.I have both Handcent and Chomp installed as alternates, but am currently using Handcent which is rich with tweakable features.Even after disabling "notification" from the messaging app, I am still getting popups from the stock sms app whenever a text is received.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Nexus 5 since its initial release on CyanogenMod or various other stable ROMs. Anyways just today I began seeing these small, but obnoxious ads in-app. I don't download random apps, click on random bs links, or visit/browse through shady websites.
The ads are a wide rectangle near the top of the screen. There's a little x at the top left and an 'opt out' on the bottom right. It leads to a web page that essentially wants you to submit your IMEI, device ID and other information...or download/install an apk to "automatically" opt out of the ads.
I installed a few different antivirus/security apps to no avail of isolating any sort of virus/malware. I then ran the optout.apk through said antivirus apps and it came clean. So against my better judgement I installed the app and opted out, then deleted the application as instructed.
The ads still populate over my screen while using most apps - Google Play, Candy Crush, Whatsapp, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. I've had Android devices dating back to the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant and I have not come across anything like this.
I have rooted my device and want to stay on stock firmware for a while. I have deleted all knox system files I can see but I'm still getting the annoying popup and notification.
