IPhone 5s :: Popup Keyboard Doesn't Appeared To Search Person Name
Sep 5, 2014
I'm using the iPhone 5S, the phone pop-up key board doesn't appeared to search the person name and also the keyboard don't appeared in able to add contact.
Is there a known issue with the Search Screen Keyboard not hiding itself when you leave the search screen in IOS 5.1.1? Ever since I upgraded, if I go to the search screen, then flick the screen back to the first Aps page, the keyboard stays there in the middle of the screen and I have to click the off button off and on again.
I received my ICS update today, and I can not get the onscreen keyboard to come up at all.BTW, I can't get ANY keyboard to come up! I downloaded one or 2 others, and they will not come up either.
The touch on my iPhone 5s doesn't work anymore, and white squares have appeared on the bottom of the screen. I have tried to restart the phone several times (Home/Start buttons combination) but it doesn't work. I can receive phone calls but I can't answer at all. The touch suddenly stopped working for no legitimate reason.
I am having a serious problem with my Galaxy S6. The keyboard and any pop up menu for selection are not visible. I can see the keyboard and any selection menu when I rotate the screen then it vanishes very quickly.
I have disabled keyboard, cleared data and cache then restarted but it doesn't seem to work.
I have wiped all the cache partition, done a factory reset, flashed a stock 5.1.1 but the problem still exists.
My imessage doesnt work for one person but does everyone else. And same for him he can Imessage other people but not me? Does any one know why this is happening?
It's about a 4S 32G. While being in the search screen, when I tap the home button (to return to the 1st menu screen) it actually returns me to the first menu screenas it should but does not remove (hide) the search keybord! So, half of the menu screen is hidden under the keyboard. I can scroll to the 2nd screen and so on but I cansee (and tap) only the half of each screen as the other half is under the keyboard ... I solve the problem either by restartingthe phone or by just pressing the power button (getting the phone in sleep mode and then come back).
I have been reading a thread about spotlight not working until people updated to 5.1. Well, I have the reverse problem. I updated to 5.1 a few days ago, and now I can search for everything EXCEPT words that begin with H or N. When I try that, the enlarged letters on the keyboard freeze for 10 seconds, then disappear. Although the N or H appears in the search screen, no search results appear. I have tried shutting off various programs but that does not help.
I'm seeing a problem whereby, if the other person hangs up before I do, the call will continue on the handset - on all other phones, as soon as the other person hangs up, the handset then disconnects too.
Once I updated my IPhone to the latest OS 5.1, I noticed the keyboard shown at search Page is now shown at all pages which means I can't use the application in the lower half of the page. I have to lock and unlock to remove the keyboard!!!
where the onscreen keyboard doesn't hide / close / disappear when you leave the "Search iPhone" screen? It happened a couple of times in at least one other app (App Store) but happens every time with the search screen and only since I upgraded to IOS 5.1. The only way to clear the issue is turn the phone on and off, which is just a bit too Windows ;-)
The phone ia about 18 months old, has never been jailbroken and has always had upgrades applied as they come out.
I found lot of POIs on the map which I´m not not able to find using the search function. Eg. around the corner from my house is supermarket Billa, its POI is on map on the right place but when I try to search for Billa, I got no result at all! This is not only in this case but found more cases. How is this possible? I tried to search more POIs from the maps now and I found that I was able to find only this POIs from Lonely Planet, Michelin, WCities.. but none OVI maps own POIs. Other places like streets, squere etc are fine... Somebody with same experience. Note: I´m always online and all the maps I downloaded to the mobile.
I have over 1,500 contacts in Outlook and has successfully synchronized them with Nokia E72 (last firmware). But quick search in Contacts application simply doesn't work - I can find only few contacts - others just dissapear when I start typing correct letters.
I tried to kill the process of this app and restart Contacts. Voila, it works correctly! But then in 5 min. I tried again and got just the same problem.Desktop quick search doesn't work too.
I've already tried to reload all the contacts in my phone - no results.
I have reently bought a blackberry bold 9780, and it used to work fine untill yesterday. Whenever i try to search something like a name or message or an application it doesnt give me any result, it just keeps searching?
S6 edge and the default mail app doesn't search the server, even when "search server" is selected after a search of the local mail store. It just returns "no mail found". any success in searching the server for older email? I haven't been able to find any other mention of it though. I had the employee install outlook and that works, but it would be nice if we could figure out how to get this working in the default mail app assuming it's not a bug. This is an exchange/office 365 activesync mailbox...
When i type a mail or forward a mail their is TO or CC, i write to a mail's first word but there is not auto search the mail id.my deatils are as follows :Black Berry modal 8520V5.0.0.592I am using yahoo, gmail and corporate enterprises account.Total 4 nos. of mail pushing on my handsetmy defalut messaging service mail is my corporate mail i.e.
I have my search function configured to show apps, but when I do a search apps don't actually show up (most of the time) unless I hit the button in the search dialog and then select Apps. Other search types (e.g., contacts) seem to work fine.
My touchscreen frequently doesn't register my input in either swype or normal modes. This seems to happen primarily when searching contacts. Swype may show the word suggestion but it never appears in the search window. The only solution seems to be shutting down and removing the battery. Just restarting doesn't work. Neither does switching input methods.

My new Bold 9900 has stopped automatically searching for the network, so basically every time I go on the underground, it loses reception (obviously), but then it doesn't automatically find it again when I am out in the open. I don't think i have changed any settings..
My voice search doesn't work when I am on wifi data. It keeps thinking over and over and comes back with no results. But when I switch to mobile data network it works fine and returns the results right away. I can not even use speech to text feature while on wifi it, it does the same thing as voice search on wifi. I am not able to find out what the problem is. The formatting was incorrectly checked causing all caps. Just changed the formatting to correct that.
why doesn't my calculator, picture gallery and keyboard turn from vertical to horizontal when I move the phone 90degrees now. It used to do this. its an i-phone 3Gs
