I have changed my password and I forget it, so now my blackberry is locked. And it is on its last attempt before being my information being clear. I haven't backed up my datas, is there any other way to recover it? I don't want to lose all of my datas, there are some important ones.

I Just wanted to find out if there is any way you can view messages after you end chat or clear messages on BBM?And no they were not backed up to PC or Blackberry protect. Is chat history not stored temporary on a DB file on the phone somewhere and call it up like the event log by holding down alt and type lglg ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am working with a user who recently switched from a 9550 to a 9700 (verizon to at&t) for coverage reasons.Whenever he unlocks his keyboard (using the lock button on the top left of the device), he must enter his password to access his phone. The security timeout settings on his phone are set to 1 hour, but even if he locks the keyboard for 5 seconds, he still has to enter his password when unlocking it.The only time that the keyboard will lock and unlock without requiring a password is when it is entered/removed from the holster.We are using BES.I cannot replicate this issue with the 9650 or 9550. Unfortunately I don't have a 9700 at my disposal to play with.Is this a normal feature for the 9700?I've checked his encryption settings (disabled).We cannot disable the password function (mandated by BES policy).The issue is not that he has to enter his password, it's that he would prefer that a password not be needed unless the security timeout has expired.

They automatically take me to a security info page, there are 5 blank questions i must fill in e.g. whatwas first job I had. but every time I select answer it refreshes the page, so i can never finish updating the security info and thus i cannot download/install any more apps on my iphone.It is very weird because I already have ONE security question on my apple ID, so why do I need more?And the fact it refreshes etc worries me that im being hacked/a virus of some sort I cannot change my security info anywhere except on my phone it seems?I tried on my apple ID, but its different, as thats not the same format, it is only one Q, whereas i was asked 5 on my iphone?

I set the trace a pattern security system for the phone. Later when trying to do two things at once I got the pattern wrong five times. I then compounded the problem by getting the succeeding attempts wrong as well until the phone locked me out. Like many others it seems I set-up my gmail account without recording the pertinant details, gmail address and password, these are the requirements to unlock the phone. The official X10 user guide is no help on the subject. I have also been to various websites looking for advice and have found no information at all, apart from don't do it of course! I went to a phone shop and their advice was to use PC Companion to reset the phone but of course I need to mount the phone in order that the software sees it. I am resigned to resetting the phone as the solution as I am backed up but even if I reset I will still need the gmail info to enable all of the Google features. I know it is the result of being a dufus but it seems like a bit of a terminal cul-de-sac at the moment.
