I'm using iTunes 10.6.3 and when I make a copy it overrides the previous one, so I've got only one copy to restore.
I make the copy by right-clicking the iPhone in iTunes and selecting "Save a copy". How can I tell iTunes to not override copies?

I had to restore my iPhone, but the day before I made a backup.When its finished with the restoring process I get this screen on the iPhone:Â
1. Start as a New device
2. Restore backup from iCloud
3. Restore backup from iTunes. Â
I'v tried both restoring the backup again and starting as a new device. If I do that I'll get all my old apps but none of the information that was in my backup, photoes, contacts, notes etc.Â
I've located the backup folder, and I can see that the photoes etc are there, the folder is at 7Gb. Strangely enough each time I try to restore my backup it just creates a copy of the original backup folder.Â

I use iCloud for my calendars on my iPhone 4S.However, there are 28 Birthdays calendars listed under "other" on the phone that I cannot figure out how to delete.I have already tried turning off iCloud syncing and deleting the calendars

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use notes quite frequently to write down ideas. Everytime I start the app and add to a note, another copy of the note is saved. It's getting so I have 10 and 12 copies of some notes.
I do not have sync notes on iTunes checked and I don't think it's happening becasue of my iCloud backup becasue I have notes switched OFF.
I bought a new laptop and synced my phone to it. I carried over the old music to my laptop and now there's two copies of some songs ONLY on my iPhone. I tried manually deleting them but when I sync my phone they come back. I tried unchecking the albums to prevent them syncing and resetting it and that only removes some of the doubles. Just to clarify, they do NOT show up in iTunes as doubles, only on my phone.

I tried to use the blackberry desktop manager. Asked me to enter my pin. I did, it wouldnt accept it. I unplugged my phone to use it, it continued to tell me my password to unlock it as incorrect and rather than displaying the astrericks that it normally does when you enter the unlock password, it was displaying the actual characters so, I know that neither the keys are not faulty nor the password is incorrect. Its simply not accepting my password anymore.

Spoke to the developer of Freecaddie and he checked and it is suppose to save courses to SD but Bionic saves to Internal Memory. With My Tracks even when I pick "Save to SD card" is saves it to Internal Memory. What is up with that and is there a way to correct it?I know my SD card is working because I have moved pics and music to it without a problem.

When I unplugged my phone and checked my music, several albums had two copies of the same song or entire albums were split apart. I was able to transfer contacts successfully... and the Text Message option does appear when I pair my iPhone, but is says "0 Found," quite the contrary from what is actually on the phone. Since it seems like the transfer app wants to work, any trick to make it happen.

My new Bold is showing my sent emails (from a gmail account) as if they were a new received email, simply showing what I sent but as an email sent from me.
I am switching from the Torch, and with the setup I had there, an email sent would show up in my blackberry messages folder as a sent message (regardless of whether I sent it from the blackberry or from gmail on the web).
Whenever I read, or reply emails in Outlook 2010 on my laptop/pc, a copy of that same email gets sent to my handheld again (ending up with 2 copies of same email).
how I can stop this from happening? It's a pain to read or reply to 5 emails and then have the same 5 emails sent to my handheld. If I read them on my 9900, delete or reply to them, no duplicate is sent again.
I've noticed that everytime you install Zumocast and setup your server, it gets added to the left Pane of your Zumocast Server.I now have 4 copies of my server as I have re-installed Zumocast serval times. Is there a way to clear out the old in-active servers?

I just received 10..10 copies of the same SMS. This is not a one off occurrence either. Almost daily I receive multiple copies of the same message. I know I'm on a Droid 2 and am due for a much needed upgrade but am trying to hold out for a Droid 5 (if there is even to be one). For instance, I will get as many as five or six copies of the exact same message within a few minutes of each other. The people who are texting me are only sending the message once, so I assumed the problem was on my end. I reset the phone about three times per week, but the problem does not improve or get worse. However, as time passes, my contacts keep growing with hundreds of copies with each entry. I mean when I select a contact an choose "Edit Contact" list shows me hundreds of same entries, as a result phone becomes unresponsive while trying to open "Edit Contact" activity. View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 822 is duplicating music, videos & pictures. I have 10-12 copies of some songs & pictures. It stops duplicating videos at 3 copies. It does not do it with all music, photo's or videos, so I do not think it is a card issue. I have a new Sandisk 64gb class 10 card that I formatted with this phone. Photo's music & videos were loaded to card through the phone by hooking up cable to windows 7 computer drag & drop/cut & paste. I can delete extra pictures, but I cannot delete extra videos or music. If you delete one of the copies, none of them will play. When you delete photos, there will be new copies by the next day. Have had this phone since the release at Verizon... Like the phone, but the video playback is very choppy & these duplicating issues are insane.

Peculiarly it seems to send at least 10 copies of every image.I'm watching it do it right now - uploading goes up to 100%, shows just one picture uploading.
