I built a "frankenstein" iphone out of the parts of a number of broken ones and today was the first-run power up. Happily, most things worked. Then, I tried to pull it apart to fix the minor issues and that's when things went bad. When I lifted the digitizer with a suction cup, I had forgotten that it was not totally adhered to the LCD frame. It had a little bit of adhesive at the bottom and a little at the top, but it separated when I pulled. I put an adhesive strip on the bottom part and let it connect the two so that I could lift the assembly out. I'm guessing in the process of this I strained the ribbon cables, but read on, because its not that simple.
I adhered the pieces and reconnected everything. When I put it back together, the screen didn't light up when I hit the power button. The phone is still on, it still makes audible alerts etc but no screen image. I tried connecting another screen (not connected to rails, digitizer etc) and hitting power and still nothing.
Keep in mind all of these parts should be working, but this phone is built from the ground up. Every single piece was installed into a new frame separately, but it did work when I first put it all together.
Just tried my screen on a different iphone. Works fine. So its the phone, I guess. What could cause it to stop outputting an image just like that?
I set a 'slide to unlock' lock screen image in Settings/Wallpaper or via the Photos app but when I lock the phone and then turn it on the image always shows the original battery gauge picture. This is only since I upgraded to v5.1. I've tried disabling the lock screen password but with no difference.
Is it possible to change just the lock screen image only but leave the wallpaper as-is? Seems as though you used to be able to do this but not with iOS 5.1 now?
The screen on my iphone is showing the top part of the screen at the bottom of the screen. A system reboot hasn't worked - the power/lock combo. The images on the screen are flickering and jittery in some apps but perfect in others. After a reboot thing there is a discoloured oval in the screen and the edges are faded.....

When ever I start my camera it locks on the first image when the camera app starts. So, moving around or adjusting to the exact picture you want is impossible, because the screen is frozen with that original image.
I just bought a new Samsung galaxy s5 and the screen has words and a background image. Its like the samsung logo and galaxy logo and some more that I cant make out. You can see it on the screen and esp when you use the camera.
So I'm playing around with 8.1, and am trying to get an image I like as my start screen background. But no matter what I do to resize the image in Photoshop or what have you, my 1520 always wants to crop it. I want to use the entire image.
My cellphone is currently showing me no image, but the touch works. The issue started on saturday( i didn't drop the phone or got it into water or anything other than the usual use) i went to lockout the screen and i didnt see any image after a few seconds the screen started showing image no issues. but today when i woke up i went to check the cellphone and the screen didnt show image at all no matther how much time has pass. Ever since I got the Android 5.0 update on my T-Mobile S5; the background for my home screen randomly reverts back to the default. Am I the only one this is happening to; and if not, how do I fix it?
After unlocking and entering my password, the top drop down menu jumped to the bottom. The menu accessability was still functioning from the top, however the entire screen shifted up. When I try to tap an app in the new, offset position, it will select the app below the one I am going for, suggesting that the digitizer is okay. When this shift happens, I press the lock button twice, swipe to unlock and it is good as new.....at least for a while. Now, there are times that, when I press the unlock button, there is only a black screen that lights up. I then press the lock button until my unlock screen appears.

I need a solution for showing the Artist Image of an Mp3 file on the lock screen!
I have previously succeeded with adding an artist image to an Mp3 file and transferring it to my Lumia 920. The image of the artist shows up in the Music+Videos section.
The problem now is when I go to Settings and Lock Screen options and choose to Show artist when playing music the artist image isn't showing up at locked screen! The screen turns in default grey color.
Running v7.1.0.205 on my Bold 9900 and images (sized to 640x480 in PS) are not correctly displayed on the screen. I seem to be losing about 10-15% of the right hand side and rather less on the bottom of the image. Am I correct in assuming that the wallpaper should fill the entire screen to the above resolution?
i just tried to check my emails on my phone, as i reached for it and slid the screen up everything scrambled with a yellow then blue then total black image of my background, and now the phone screen will not turn on at all. My keyboard still lights up and my green light is still blinking but i can not see anything on my screen.
After updating my Neo V to 4.1.B.0.431, contact image in the call screen is very unclear and it's displaying as mixture of pixles. I dint face this on 2.3.4

I had my nexus one screen broken; the touch still working but the image is not displayed clearly. I live outside USA where there is no supporter for nexus one. So I need to order the required spare part to fix my device either by me or by technician. How do I adjust the image of the game to full screen view in my Xperia Play? It suddenly change and now it is located in the center of the screen. Dont know if this is normal.
This has happened more than once. I need to power phone off to fix it. Running Lollipop.Watch a YouTube Video, finish it, close YouTube, even end task and verify it isn't running. When phone locks the preview image is visible for the video on the lock screen.
For some reason today when i opened up my camera to take a few shots it had problem auto focusing on items close to me, as you know when you tap the screen to focus on a point in the screen you get the circle and a small beep to let you know it's focusing ok, it seemed to have problems getting to this point and there was an audible high pitched buzzing or clicking sound coming from the lens itself and the screen image would not come into focus
the phone has not been dropped or roughly handled so i am 100% sure it's not an issue caused by being knocked, i have tried a reset and a reboot but the issue still remains, also i have done no recent updates and there are none showing so that's not the issue either

I have been enjoying the various threads related to ios 4 wallpaper and I have a simple question to ask: how does one change the wallpaper to one of these custom images? I have looked at DiskAid and iPhone Explorer so far, and neither seems to point towards the wallpaper folder.
Is there anyway to attach a image/upload it so it can be viewed for instance on a forum?I am talking through my iPhone, like say I wanted to upload a image from my camera roll is that possible?
