I have been enjoying the various threads related to ios 4 wallpaper and I have a simple question to ask: how does one change the wallpaper to one of these custom images? I have looked at DiskAid and iPhone Explorer so far, and neither seems to point towards the wallpaper folder.

Home screen wallpaper changed just fine...but..
If I switch the unlock wallpaper to anything other than a default image, its insanely dark when turning the screen on.
Running v7.1.0.205 on my Bold 9900 and images (sized to 640x480 in PS) are not correctly displayed on the screen. I seem to be losing about 10-15% of the right hand side and rather less on the bottom of the image. Am I correct in assuming that the wallpaper should fill the entire screen to the above resolution?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo this may be a stupid question, but this is my first Nexus device. I will have a 6P delivered Thursday and plan to unlock, decrypt, and install TWRP. The guides so far reference using MDB08K, and the modified boot is only for this version currently. After I install TWRP, am I able to install the factory image for the latest MDB08M and just exclude flashing certain images? Or do I need to flash them all then wait for a new modified boot image for 08M and install TWRP over again?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues with a wallpaper saved from the gallery. Most of the times it will stick, but about 20% of the time the default red circuit board wallpaper will return. Phone is still functional and if I put it to sleep then reawake, most of the times my gallery wallpaper will return. Really odd. Happens sometimes right after I save a new wallpaper or sometimes later that day after multiple "wake ups".
I was thinking of locating the default wallpapers and placing my pics in there, but if I pick one of the other stock wallpapers, it has done it there, too. Right back to the default circuit board.

should do have a permanent wallpaper on my screen except the one that came with the phone, everytime i set a wallpaper of my choice and after some applications and downloads it reverts back to the wallpaper that came with the handset, i have already tried so many times without real success

Well, I decided to redo the entire wallpaper by hand, and here are the results, feel free to use it. I am not the original creator of this wallpaper, so credit for the idea goes to whoever created the first version. Enjoy.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI jailbroke my phone using jailbreakme.com. Come to find out you are unable to change the homescreen wallpaper. Between this forum and a website I found I was able to do a work around. But the website I found had told me to add a source which I did. Now when I go into Cydia it gives me an error saying something about along the lines of it is unable to fetch it. So assuming it is unable to fetch it I guess it's doing no good to have the source but when I go to manage and sources it is not listed. How can I get rid of this error?
