how do i get my images on my wallpaper to have the central part of the image in the centre of th home screen part of the wallpaper? I hope this makes sense. I mean so I dont have to scroll along to see it, I would just like it to fit my home screen!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to take a JPG and turn it into wallpaper but the xoom formatted the picture incorrectly. When you try this there is a crop frame that shows up to allow you to crop the picture but the resultant image doesn't fit the screen like it should. The crop frame is bigger than the xoom display.

I seem to be losing about 10-15% of the right hand side and rather less on the bottom of the image. Am I correct in assuming that the wallpaper should fill the entire screen to the above resolution?

It feels random and usually last for 10-30 seconds. I've tried the Sony Ericsson update service, and did a reset, but it didn't help. View 5 Replies View RelatedI own a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, and I just bought it less than a month ago. A peculiar thing happened to me today- my phone (or my SD card) simply decided to "forget" all the stuff that I had saved on it (on the SD card), more precisely, copied from another phone and from the laptop. It erased ONLY the things I saved there (my music and pictures from my laptop and my previous phone, and probably other stuff that I don't even remember I had on it). All the folders that the phone itself created on my SD card (camera pictures, Bluetooth, downloads, folders linked to apps like other camera apps and so on) stayed untouched. I first noticed that something strange was going on when I connected my Xperia Neo to my laptop in order to copy some music to it. When I opened the folder I created on the card, only some of the data was there, not all of it. I disconnected the phone, and unmounted the SD card, took it out, and then put it back in, I think I did this more than once. When I put it back in, the thing mentioned in the beginning happened- all the stuff that I put there was gone. I checked the card once more by putting it in my laptop, and there it was, half-empty. Does anybody know what the problem could be? I'm confused because of the arbitrariness (I don't know what else should I call it) of the items removed. I thought I accidentally touched the "Erase SD card" option, instead of Unmount SD card, but then it would erase ALL the content on it, wouldn't it? I just wanted to check if anybody had a similar problem and could just explain to me what happened, I am aware that I will not get my music and pictures and other files back, I simply cannot understand how this is possible. No other problems with the phone, except for my display turning on/off on its own, but I thing I got that fixed with Automatic Task Killer app.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe home bar suddenly stopped working on my Z5 compact. It's not a touchscreen issue, because the lower part of the screen works perfectly (for example to open the camera app from the lock screen). I rebooted it several times but it's still not working.
There were no Android updates before that, but I did have an issue that the screen would go permanently inactive during calls (a known issue for this model). I did not tamper with the software either.
I never noticed how much the phone is dependent on the "back" button until now
My Xperia X10 Mini Pro has a horizontal 'band' of about 1cm in the bottom half of the screen that does not respond to touch.I am able to touch and use anything above and below this 'band' but never within it.Phone is not under warranty and I have tried Factory resets and software updates with no success, I am assuming it's a hardware fault.

I can re-install the software and sometimes it helps, but I'm not too sure what else to do.And since the update I've been having problems with Mediascape, it comes on by itself and plays music. I stop it, shut it off and it opens again and plays music. I was wondering if there is something wrong with the Mediascape on these phones. Could it be buggering up the phone?
