I used to listen to an album before falling asleep and after finishing the last song the player stopped. Now, it doesn't stop and plays the same album around and around. There is no usual button to use. I think that that happened after updating my iOS.

I very much want to be able to play through all of my music in album order, and have the option to do it by artist (and chronologically would be phenomenal and ideal!) or simply all albums by Alpha.
I understand that you could once do that by artist on iPod... is there anyway to get that native functionality - is there a way to do that without suffering the pain of having to create more excess playlists to accomplish what should (ideally and logically) be built-in functionality?

I just recently found problems with downloads certain songs. Specifically the artists Chromium, Deas Vail, Celldweller and Hawthorne Heights. What happens is I download them as usual the whole file downloads with no errors BUT the songs are firstly filed incorrectly on the P.C (not in folders of artist and album). Secondly they don't have any metadata/ info embedded in the file (artist album publisher etc) and Finally but most importantly they don't play, not on my winamp or nokia media player. If I use nokia media player an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle appears next to the Song. This has only happened with those artists so far. I'm using a Nokia N8 unlimited Music subscription.

I have given my old iPhone4 to my son. He is also using a newish hand down laptop from me.I wiped the iPhone and removed iTunes from my old laptop (his now). Then I reinstalled iTunes on (his) handdown laptop and connected the iPhone and then went through the normal start up process. Unfortunately the iPhone still downloads applications I purchased to his iPhone 4. Then when updates are shown on his phone, the iPhone account on the phone shows as mine despite his name being correct in Settings>Store>Apple ID. Is there something in iTunes I need to do to deassociate my details?

Whenever a banner alert appears from my home screen, it prevents me from going to open a different app. This is happened when using WhatsApp so I don't know if it's a third-party issue.Â
For example the banner alert is from WhatsApp, but I can't tap on the app itself, I have to tap on the banner alert. I try tapping on different apps and it won't let me.

View 9 Replies View RelatedFor the last few weeks whenever I go out for a run my music pauses on it's own. I then "un-pause" it and have to turn the volume back up and carry on. In some cases I cannot get the music to resume at all and I have to restart the moto. I have also found that if I start my music before I press start for the workout the music will pause when I press start. Initially it has been doing this under 10 times per 2 hour run. This morning it paused, without exageration, nearly 100 times. Needless to say I was cussing like a sailor for the duration of my run.

Most other phones allow you to hit a button on the side to silence it. It is annoying in a meeting when I can't silence the alarm quickly.Does anyone know of any apps out there that would allow me to stop the alarm using the easily accessible volume button? Also, if you know of any apps that would give me more user controls. For example, I would love to be able to lock the camera button until I unlock it with a menu item.I gave up my old phone because of this alarm silencing issue. I may have to do the same with the 5230. I have 90 days to turn it back in to Costco.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor whatever reason, Pandora stops after each song when my phone goes off and the only way to go to the next song is by turning the screen back on and opening the app. WiFi is set to always on during sleep. I'm connected via Bluetooth if that matters. Is it the app? There's a setting in advanced in Pandora about auto lock and I have clicked and unclicked and it still stops after each song. Once I turn the screen back on and open the app, the advertisement turns back on or the next song plays.

I cannot seem to turn off the Hangouts app vibrations for new texts. See, I use Light Flow for all my notifications, and I have it set up to vibrate twice when I get a new text message. Light Flow is working fine, but the problem is that there is always a third, longer vibration immediately before the Light Flow ones. I assume it's coming from the Hangouts app itself but I've poured through every setting, turned off vibrate everywhere I've seen it, and yet the single, long vibrate persists. I've even gone through all the main phone settings to no avail. I'm also relatively certain that Light Flow isn't the issue; when I disable that app, I still get the single, long vibration from Hangouts.

I have since double checked this under email setup to make sure they are not being synchronized.However, when I compose a message on my phone, a list of "contacts" appears as I type - so if I start with an "M", a list of contacts that start with M appear underneath. My problem is that some of these are not contacts I have specifically added on the blackberry (i.e. they are from my other email accounts), and others are not even contacts, but merely people who have sent me an email once before (such as a company I once bought a product from).I know this isn't a huge problem, but it is really bothering me, and I think it's a bit strange to see a list of people who are not on any contact list I have. I had a Curve for 3 years until now, and never had this problem.

You can prevent them from running easily.In the Xoom I see some programs doing the same thing. Like Maps. I have no need for the Maps app to be running normally. I doubt if I would ever use it. I have GPS for the vehicles and mostly go to known locations now anyway.I don't want to remove the app particularly. You never know when you might decide it would be good to run it
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading the phone to V21.0.045 I've had intermittent problems with the touch screen vibrate stopping working, which has fixed itself after a reboot. Also the unreliable slide lock problem has returned with this update. Now, as of this evening vibrate and even the small kick given when you switch on has stopped working. Not fixable by a reboot or taking the battery out.
I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue, simply worn out after 7 months or to do with V21? Can't reinstall V21, the new version of updater won't let me do it.
