IPhone :: My ATT Email Settings Don't Work, Any Suggestions?

Although I have connected my AT&T email to my iPhone and iPad in the past, they have stopped working. I now am unable to get a connection to AT&T email using their settings. I have even used the new servicers, outbound.att.net and inbound.att.net to no avail. I have tried it with and without SSL. the message just keeps saying that my username or password is incorrect, and I know that this is not true. AT&T refuses to help with email connections to any mobile device. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok so I have some suggestions for apple for their iPhone 5 because I thought there were some cool ideas I had or others had so I jut wanted to know where I can get there email or something so I can suggest the ideas.

Having owned the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for a couple of months or so, I must say that I really like the phone and it has great functionality.My main concerns/issues however are outlined below:
1. Facebook for Nokia app is slow, does not show all of the functions that m.facebook.com shows and isn't a homescreen widget (e.g. push notifications)
2. Communities app is even slower and again does not have the functionality of m.facebook.com and doesn't show notifications at all!
3. The Nokia Messaging app insists on connecting to 3G all the time, rather than a wifi connection when available. I've also experienced intermittent issues when trying to connect (sometimes it stays offline and even selecting 'Go online' doesn't wake the program up).
4. Default web browser keeps crashing and doesn't support larger websites (I experience intermittent crashes as well as memory issues). I do not receive such issues in Opera Mobile. I also dislike the defaulting to full screen mode all the time. If you turn full screen off, as soon as you navigate to a different page it goes back to full screen again, therefore increasing the activity on the phone and it takes longer to load the page before you can scroll or click another link.
I think I've covered all of my main concerns but in essence this device really needs better app support and social networking integration.I would be grateful if I could be given an update on if/when we can expect to receive such support.If anyone else agrees, please indicate below along with any additional feature requests relating to this topic.

I've noticed recently I get this Temperature screen when I leave my phone in the car at the water park. I don't want to take it in with me since I'll probably get it stolen or wet. But whether I leave it in the trunk or in the glove box it still comes up with this Temperature issue. Do you think this is bad? What precautions should I take? I'm weary of leaving it in the cooler since it might end up getting wet, and I'll never get a Apple Store swap for replacement.

In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
version 10.60.

I got an order status e-mail from AT&T yesterday that my order is moving forward. So far, that is. I am now contemplating all the fun things I can do to my old WinMo phone once the iPhone 4 arrives. Sorry to even say that word, winmo, here in the forums. I'm open to suggestion!

My friend has an i4 4.0 jailbroke from jailbreakme. After jailbreak everything work fine for him. He had MMS working fine he could send and receive MMS no problems. Well the other day he tried to send an MMS and it wouldn't send out. It tries to send and the little bar on the top when you send a message comes up and it goes about 95 percent of the way and stops then he gets the red explanation mark after about 1 minute. So it doesn't go through. He has tried the Iphone Delivery repo and it didn't work, he has reset his network settings didn't work. Was wondering if anyone had any other advice? His facetime works fine no problems there. I assume the next step is a restore which he already knows but he is trying to fix it without restoring.

I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.

I'm getting the following message "your device encountered a problem with this application's server" when I try to add an email in Email settings. This problem is occurring since 15-NOV-2010. I'm using O2 service provider. i've called them and reported this problem. O2 service provider did all possible troubleshooting and they advices everything is ok on their side. They don't know why am I getting this message.not able to add an email or edit my existing email settings.

I have been a Blackberry fan for years and have setup countless Blackberry's for friends. I recently changed jobs and therefore, had to change my email settings, to receive work emails on my Blackberry Torch. I emailed our hosting company and asked for the settings to setup my phone, I received this response: (have blanked out my details for security reasons)To setup the email account on your BlackBerry device you will need the following information Email address: ********@******.co.zausername: ********Password: ********Incoming mail server: The incoming mail server is tricky as your organisation doesn't have a static IP address. I have contacted both our hosting company and Vodacom (my BB service provider) neither are able to assist me? I've been struggling with battery drain for a while now. Previously, I had my email set to "fetch every 15 minutes." I noticed that my usage rate each hour would go up by about 30 minutes even while the phone remained in my pocket on standby, with my battery draining around 10% each hour. I changed my email to "fetch every hour" and saw my battery life increasing. Finally, I changed the email setting to fetch "manually" and have noticed that now my usage rate more accurately reflects my actual usage and I am satisfied with my battery life. It seems like I have narrowed down my battery issue to my email settings. However, I would like to be able to have my email sent to my phone without having to manually update it each time. Any email settings or other settings I could change to increase my battery life?

I have been using my bold now for about a week and I'm puzzled. I came from a storm2 and loved it. I love things about my bold a lot. Here is my issue, I have seen more hourglasses in a week with my bold than I ever did with my s2. I have done battery pulls and all the standard stuff but I find my phone is very laggy. Do I have a lemon and should I exchange it?

I have an email account on my iPhone that is from my old employer. I know how to "delete" the email account in my settings, but when I did that it removed all of my saved notes from within the past 6 months from the iPhone's original "notes" app, as well as removed my events that are saved in my calendar app. So I re-added the email account (which is an additional email account connected to my yahoo email that my employer added for me in the past (I no longer work there, so I don't need it). The strange thing is that when I bought my phone, I set everything up through a different Yaho account. How can I remove this email without loosing my notes and calendar events?
