IPhone 4s :: IOS 7.1.2 / How To Stop Music App From Shuffling
Aug 27, 2014Running latest iOS on iPhone 4S. The Music app is playing through a very large playlist (>1000 songs) that I want to listen to in order, but it is shuffling songs in the list. How do I get this to stop? When a song is playing, the "Repeat", "Create" and "Shuffle" buttons on the bottom of the screen are in normal red text.

Jun 23, 2014I Have iPhone 5s and for the past month when I play my music while running it keeps shuffling. I have the shake to shuffle off and in my playlist the shuffle is off when I start running but after the first song plays it shuffles and on the playlist current song playing has shuffle on so again I turn it off and after one song it is back with shuffle on. It does it only when I run if I'm walking the shuffle does not turn itself back on. since I have had this phone since last year when the 5s came out and have never had this problem during running until the last month.

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

Mar 22, 2012My brothers computer broke. It was a PC. But he had his iPhone synced with it. So now he wants to get the music he lost in that computer to download to his new computer. But the music he purchased is on his iPhone, and the computer wont let him transfer the music from his iPhone, to his new computer. It tells him this music was synced with a different library and won't let him transfer the music.
Does anyone know a work around for this. I know he is using a PC, but I figure, and Apple user, who brakes his Laptop(I'm not talking about crashing, I am talking about actually braking, it was smashed basically), would run into the same problem, your iPhone has Music that was synced with another Library, and it wont let you move the music to the new library. Even though this music was all purchased with the same Apple ID, that doesn't seem to matter. Now, I know that one of the new features of iTunes lets you re-download music you purchased and may have lost, without having to purchase it again. But none of the music from that broken laptop appears in that list of re-downloadable music. All was purchased from iTunes.

I am trying to erase all the music from my iPhone and then load a new music library. In iTunes I go to Music > Sync Music > Entire music library, then attempt to Sync. I get the "this will erase all the music on the iPhone" message, I say OK. I then get a dialog "The iPhone cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all the items in the iTunes library....."
The new library is about half the size of the library on the iPhone, so it is obviously not erasing.

Jun 30, 2012I will soon be getting a Retina MBP, and would like to keep my entire music library on an external HD.
When keeping all of my music on an external drive, and leaving none on the rMBP, there comes the issue regarding music management on my iPhone. Presumably, in order to add music to the phone using this system, I would have to make sure that iTunes on the rMBP reads from the iTunes folder/library on the external HD, at which point the music files would become visible in iTunes and I could then add music to the iPhone.

Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc
