Jun 29, 2010I connect the blackberry to my laptop (lenovo T400) via USB, then the phone asks me to choose mass storage or not. if I choose mass storage the laptop freezes immediately + black screen and then reboot. it happens no matter if I launch desktop manager or not...
When I use desktop manager, if I DO NOT choose mass storage, then it works till I click on media and sync media, the roxio software launches and then it crashes again with exactly the same symptom as describe above.....

Jun 23, 2012For a few years now, businesses have been looking for a replacement device for the unfortunately slowly dying Blackberries they have been using since about a decade. In the past few years the iPhone has gained some ground on that aspect, as a lot more businesses have started supporting in-house use of the device. Android on the other hand, as flexible, versatile and capable as it may be, has it's share of challenges for a business that cannot be overlooked. Such as fragmentation, the extremely wide variety of devices and their features, etc. For those reasons, I don't see Android being widely adopted in the business market in the next few years.
However with the announcement of Windows Phone 8, and the new business friendly features that are coming,R() I think we could see a turnaround as business slowly, perhaps VERY slowly, start to adopt Windows Phone as their trusted OS for the enterprise. This could be Windows Phone's saving grace, as it has been for RIM for a very long time. Although, if and when Microsoft grabs a good chunk of business smartphone marketshare, hopefully it will also give them a boost of interest for the consumer part of the equation. Because with these new features, Windows Phone is just as good a business device than a consumer device.
Also, don't forget about how many different Microsoft products are used in the vast majority of enterprises : Windows for Desktops, Windows Server, Office, Sharepoint, Exchange, etc. are all products that are ...EXTREMELY present in the industry. This translates into Microsoft begin known as a very "trusted" company, and any product coming from them is assumed to have a certain level of quality and business-friendliness to it.

Aug 17, 2010I just got the new iPhone. I'm still using Tiger 10.4.11 on my MacBook Pro.I plugged my new phone in to the computer and it said that the phone isn't compatible with my version of OSX. I didn't think this would be a problem since my iPhone 3G works just fine with it.
I know I can buy a new version of OSX, but after spending £450 on the phone, I'm not really in a position to afford the £132 it's going to cost me to upgrade (Apple website says I need to go for the Mac Box Set, and not just Snow Leopard) at the moment.
This isn't my main question, but if I was to ask someone who already has the Mac Box Set for a copy of the disk, would it install on my Mac, or do I have to buy it myself? Sorry if that's a silly question.If I was to set up my new phone on the PC I have here, I wouldn't be able to then plug it back into my Mac, would I? All my music and contact info etc is stored on my Mac so it'll be a major hassle to have to start all over again on the PC.And also, say if I did start using this on the PC, when I do eventually get Snow Leopard, do I have to start all over again if I want to go back to using the phone with my Mac?

Aug 25, 2014When I connect my IPhone to my Pc the internal storage from control panel show up then I don't know what to do there, then when i open the itunes the summary is missing, when i went to device to sync music etc the sync button both in the iphone & itunes is grey out, I don't what to do I already try everything I re uninstalled it several times and installed it, the usb works well. Aug 23, 2014I can't find the answer why my iphone 4s got stuck in recovery mode. I think the only thing to fix this is thru iTunes but my PC can't detect it. My iphone 3g and 4 can detect but the 4s can't? I already checked the device manager but the apple mobile device driver doesn't show up for iphone 4s. I reinstall iTunes for how many times but still no luck. Â

Also not that I have researched this much, but what is the difference with all the different version on Mac OS as well, I know there is Cydia, RedSn0w, BlackRa1n etc etc.
Is the software you use just preference?
