So I recently won an original iPhone in an auction on eBay (for parts or not working.)
The seller mentioned that it gets stuck on the apple logo which it does, and iTunes also doesn't detect it.

Nokia E6 with Symbian Belle Refresh which I bought just a couple of days ago.It does not detect wifi internet connections at all, although they are available. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable

I am a lifelong apple user. I am running the latest IOS software on iTunes and my MacBook uses OS X 10.7.3. All of the software is up to date. I was originally upset because iPhoto and Image Capture would not detect my iPhone 4 but I got over it. Now iTunes won't detect the phone and that is not ok. I searched the forums but I didn't find anything that has resolved the issue. I cannot delete iTunes and reinstall because my computer tells me it is "required by OS X". Therefore, searching finder and deleting then re installing will not work.

Before updated to iOS 5.1 and iTunes 10.6, there was no problem for iTunes to detect my phone in order to perform wifi sync, but after updated to the latest firmware for both platforms, the issue occured. iTunes couldn't detect my iPhone even though both were under same wifi network. I ever sync via wifi before, so I've done those settings. Now when the issue occur, I need to reboot the iPhone, then it works again. The issue happened each day. Very frustrating and unreliable and inconsistance. My Mac iTunes has no problem to detect the iPad2 (OS 5.0). The problem only happen to my iPhone (OS 5.1). No such thing happen before during OS 5.0.

I've tried restarting both the Mac (which is running Snow Leopard) and the iPhone. I've tried several cables. I recently updated iTunes. The update went smoothly, but immediately after the update iTunes no longer shows my iPhone4. The diagnostics show that everything is okay with exception of the no iPhone connected error. I've run through all of the Apple helps but nothing has fixed the problem. The same problem occurs on other user profiles on the same computer. The computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 shows the iPhone and I can access it as a camera or drive. I've re-installed the phone USB driver but still no go. I can plug my phone into another computer and the sync works fine.

It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. Yesterday, I went running with my Lumia 1020 listening to music and using the Runtastic app. The music stopped - I looked at the phone - it was turned off. I tried powering on, but to no avail. I should also mention that upon leaving, the battery was fully charged and this happened after some 20 minutes. When I came home, I immediately put the phone on the wall charger and expected it to power on after a while. I checked it after 3 hours and nothing, the phone was still stone-dead and what was even more worrying, completely cold - no heat-up from charging.
I tried connecting it to my PC - the computer didn't even recognize ANY device was connected to it. Just to be sure, I tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but sure enough, it was not able to detect the phone. The phone seems to be dead meat now, but when I put it on my desk wireless charging stand, the stand's indicator lights up, although the phone does nothing and stays that way.
why the buttoms next to the track pad don't turn off, I lock the phone and they keep on. And keyboard light doesn't turn on. I pull out the battery and this doesn't fix it.
