So I was playing a game on my laptop and I had sound so I plugged in my earbuds. After a few hours I accidently pulled them out of my ears I put them back in and noticed that I couldn't hear any sound coming from them. I checked iif they were plugged into my laptop and they were and I made sure that the sound was on.

This isn't the most critical issue on the Internet but I've tried just about everything on the market by way of inside the ear earbud holders (i.e. Breppies, foam covers, Lobies, etc). So far everything has been a waste of money. I can't get the things to stay in my ears. And I'm not just talking about running during a workout...they won't even stay in my ears while strolling down the street with the dog!. The closest thing so far has been adapters that clip on to the earbuds with a little plastic piece that accepts a little silicone cap that came in several sizes (see below). I tried them all, from small to large, and nothing works.

I just got a pair of Apple earbuds and have started using them for phone calls. Unlike the bluetooth I'm used to, I'm not able to hear myself on calls and it feels disconcerting. Other people have no trouble hearing me, so it's not an issue of the mic itself not working. Is there some kind of setting for this on my iPhone 5? On OS 7.1.2.

All of my other blackberrys have come out of sleep mode when removed from the blackberry proximity holster. My brand new 9810 does not. It comes out with the blank (sleep) screen and I have to click one of the buttons to wake it up.

The phone shuts down when pulled out of a power source though battery status is above 80%. If I plug back the phone into a power supply and restart, I am able to use the phone without any problem. Is my battery dead? It has been about 1.5 years now with this phone. Tried restarting in safe mode as well but the phone still shut down when pulled out of power supply.

One of the features I used all the time on my iPhone was the ability to skip forward/back while listening to music (e.g. Pandora, Rhapsody, Music Player, etc.). I'm afraid to ask but am I to understand this functionality does NOT work on this phone/OS??? If so, how can I get around this? I do not want to root the phone nor do I want to be forced to use apps that require me to play music stored on the phone. I have subscriptions to Pandora and Rhapsody for a reason.

Rather suddenly, plugging in my earbuds doesn't shut off external sound and enable the headphones. Thinking I'd screwed up a setting somewhere, I looked all over setup but cannot find anything to enable/disable. Is it me or my phone? Tried different players (I use winamp), different plugs. Did not reset the phone because I've spent considerable time loading and tweaking apps/settings/fonts etc and do not wish to lose all that.

I have an issue on my Nexus 5 where the Google Now volume is low - barely audible through wireless earbuds (Plantronics BackBeat Go 2). I can be listening to something else (music or a podcast or a phone call) and the volume is fine. But when I issue a Google Now voice command (e.g. What time is it?) I can hardly hear the response. The Google Now response volume is OK without the earbuds attached.
