Xperia Z2 :: Disabling (Not Connected To Internet) Notification
Sep 11, 2014Every time I unlock my Z2 and not connected to the internet, there will be this ‘Not connected to Internet’ notification appearing in the middle of my screen. And when I enable mobile data, this ‘Mobile data enabled’ notification appears. This notification appears on top of anything and it is blocking my view especially when I want to use the keyboard to type. Part of the keyboard is blocked by this notification. Even though the notification only last for about a second, it is still irritating. This notification only starts appearing 3 days ago, previously there isnt' this notification.

Apr 24, 2015I just got the Galaxy S5 and cannot figure out how to suppress the red Facebook indicator bubble (this probably has a name) that shows on the Facebook app icon on the home screen when there has been some sort of activity. Under Application Manager, Facebook...the Show Notification box is unchecked.
I've also tried Settings, Sounds and notifications, Facebook and turned On the Block all notifications. Still getting the bubble!

May 10, 2012I have the Apple Digital AV adapter to connect my 4S to the TV via HDMI. It's ok for watching videos or anything not needing input. I'd really like to use it for mirroring games onto the TV but the cable is so short, the adapter gets in the way and is always falling out and it can't be good for the iPhone or the AV adapter. I hoped I might be able to use dock connector extender cable and have tried three so far, all of which say they carry, video, data and charge (17 core) but none have worked so far. Is what I want to do impossible or is there a cable out there which will do the job? Do Apple make such a cable?

Aug 23, 2014I update my iphone 5c to 7.1.2 ios without any second thought, and to my dismay - The whole system seems to slow down afterwards.
Furthermore, I discover that 2 very important apps are not functioning anymore:
1. Provision CAM: does not open at all! It's only shows error-"Network Error"
Uninstalling and reinstalling it did not worked.
2. Waze : screen shuts downs during navigation within 1 minute. Â
This is what I discovered so far, maybe there are problems in other Apps as well. Â

Is there a way to have the iPhone (4S) automatically enable Bluetooth ONLY when I'm in the car and I hook up the phone, and to have it automatically disable Bluetooth when I disconnect and leave the car? The idea is that I will ONLY ever need/want Bluetooth active when in the car.

May 20, 2010I just started researching IPhone hacking over the last week, and it seems to me that the obvious way to block this, is to disable iTunes ability to upload custom firmware to the iPhone by holding down option while agreeing to reloading firmware. I would think that iTunes could only allow firmware to be downloaded from a registered apple server.
The argument that it would require a customer to have an internet connection is poor, because just about everyone does, and people could take the phone to an apple store if they did not. No less restrictive than "no cash" for iPads—most people have credit or debit cards (yes I read today that policy is terminated). Or would hackers just create something that can upload the firmware and simulate iTunes so this doesn't matter?
