Xperia X10 :: Contacts Not Appearing After Update?
Sep 13, 2010I have updated my Xperia X10i here in UAE. Everything seems good with the update. I have restored my recent backup that I took before updating, but unfortunately, contacts are not appearing. In call log, I can see names, and also in messaging when I add contact, it shows the list, but not in phonebook.

Mar 25, 2012I attempted to update the iPhone 4 to the latest iPhone update and now the iPhone screen is stuck on the iTunes icon and USB cable. The iPhone does not appear in the iTunes application.
Also, it appears that the iPhone has lost it's OS.

Jun 24, 2012I have an iPhone 4S, running iOS 5.1.1 (9B206). About two weeks ago (not really sure when I noticed) a phone number appeared at the bottom of my Favorites list. The number is for a person that I deleted from Contacts some months ago. The number is not in the Contact list anywhere, the contact does not exist. I've tried recreating the contact (and Favorites then shows the name) and then deleting the contact, and its still there in the Favorites list. There is a facetime icon next to the number. If I turn off Facetime, the number disappears.

BB Curve 8900 :: Device Memory Not Appearing - How To Get Back
Feb 3, 2010I'm trying to access my device memory through mass storage. But when i connect with Mass storage, i can only access the SD-card. This also happens when i go to options -> memory - There i can only see application memory, and media card, but no device memory, like in other phones.
Checking programatically for file:///store/home/user, shows it exists, and i'm able to save files to it. So - How do i get back my device memory ? Any one else experiencing these problems?

Apr 1, 2015When syncing my google contacts they suddenly do not appear. If i run diagnostic software it shows me 374 contacts have been found but no problems. At times when i select contacts it shows me the names but when i select the contact there is no information that comes up, it is just white. I go back and the contact names appear. I have tried removing my google account and readding, restarting and nothing seems to work. I can't really pinpoint to when it begun, it was intermittent then today I came home, looked at my phone and had a sync error message. The errors message seemed to indicate it was a result of google services update that must have run...
In additio to this If i go to messages the contact names appears aligned to a message, but if i dial a number manually it doesn't show me the contact name. If i recieve a call it also doesn't show me the name, only the number. I know 200% the contact is stored in google though.
When looking at the google sync options it all looks normal. Last synced is consistent with the rest. Doesn't matter if the contact is drawn from google, facebook, linked in or any other app it does not appear in the contacts list and if it does intermittently accessing the contact contains no information. It doesn't seem to be a google problem but rather a phone problem considering it is happening with all the contacts syned with out discriminating on application.
HTC Wildfire S :: Why Are Contacts Names Not Appearing In All Messages Text In Box
Jun 17, 2011Despite several phone calls to HTC and my network provider, they can't solve the problem with my phone.
My Wildfire was replaced last week with the Wildfire S following a series of software issues. For some reason, only some of my contacts names & facebook links are showing in my SMS inbox - I'm just getting their phone number. It's not all the contacts, but a growing number leaving me with a string of unidentified phone numbers...
I've tried completely deleting a contact and putting it back in; waiting for them to text and adding to contacts; I've triple checked the numbers... I've exported, imported... and run out of options!! All those with problems worked before on my old phone, and as I say it's not all the contacts.
My network says it's HTC, HTC says it's my phone (on contract from Network)

Jun 4, 2012So I am having trouble with syncing things like contacts to my phone. Yesterday I happened to drop the iphone in water and today I got a new one at the Apple Store. So I dont have the previous iphone with me because they took it. I was wondering if there was any way possible to put the contacts in my iphone from this so called "back up"?
